2. A what now.. ?!

Hannah's POV

Hey, I'm Hannah! Since this technically isn't my story I can't say much, just know I am WAY better than Ethan, AT ALL COSTS.
I was in my 9th period P.E class, which is a pretty good class since all my friends are here, there's Vale, who's pretty much the center of attention in this place, Emily, she also has a bunch of followers, pretty impressive considering she's a ginger! No offense to any Ginger's out there tho, sorryyyy! And then there's Valerie, she doesn't really talk much but she's pretty cool, she's a very honest person in my opinion. All four of us together create the most popular group in the entire school, people respect us, and if I'm gonna be honest, it's pretty weird on how they respect us when we're well.. bullies. Surprisingly, we pull it off pretty well because mostly nobody at this school knows that, Valentina comes from an extremely wealthy family so she sort of just pays whatever price to let us victimize someone. To other people, we seem like pretty normal popular girls. Valentina is student council president, and part of the AV Club, Emily plays volleyball, Valerie sells answers to anything and can hack into the grade-book, and me.. well.. I don't know why I'm popular, I guess I'm just that cool!
Me and the 3 girls were just having our weekly Friday conversation, I started it when I first caught up with them after running our 5 laps around the tennis court, " Hey, guys! What's up? I just finished my history test, and I'm so relieved it's over. " Emily grinned at her and patted her shoulder, " Oh, Hannah! You always do so well in history. I wish I had your study skills. I'm just so fucking glad it's Friday, though. Any plans for the weekend, ladies? "
Vale was playing around with her hair strand, " Well, you know me, Emily. It's my usual routine of shopping and hitting the spa. I heard there's a new boutique that opened downtown, and I must check it out. And I'm throwing a small hangout at my place tomorrow night. You're all invited, of course! " Valerie looked at her and nodded silently.
" That sounds fun! " I exclaimed with enthusiasm, " I could use a little relaxation myself. I've been so busy with my part-time job at the library. But I'm definitely up for your party. "
" Vale always throws the best damn parties. I can't wait to see what you have planned this time. And Hannah, I don't know how you work, and still keep up with your grades, it's pretty fucking cool. " Emily added. Valerie silently rolled her eyes, nobody noticed this gesture.
I jumped in joy, " We should all definitely hang out way more often! I swear we're so caught up with our personal lives and shit that it would be really nice to just spend some quality time together. " Emily agreed, " Definitely, we should make a bigger effort as a group, what do you think Vale? " She was a little taken a back but she smiled in response, " Um, yeah, sure. It could be fun. Let's make it happen. " I looked at Valerie with pleading eyes, " You have to come too! It'll be so much fun, I promise! " Valerie gave me a reassuring grin, " Yeah, sure.. I'll see if I can make it. "
     I was super excited until my eye caught something, something super disgusting.. Ethan, ugh. He's a total douche, why did we have to have the same P.E period? The only good thing that came out of it was that I could torment him there too. I guess I was staring a little too long, because suddenly someone was snapping their fingers in my face.
    " Hello? Earth to Hannah. " My three friends were staring at me curiously, I nervously chuckled and rubbed the back of my neck, " Oh, sorry guys.. I guess I just zoned out a bit, that will not happen again. " Valentina narrowed her eyes at me and then turned to see the direction I was looking at, which make her smirk and nudge my elbow. " Oh, you're staring at that Ethan idiot, aren't you? " My cheeks flushed in embarrassed, " It wasn't like that at all! You know I totally hate his guts, right?! " Emily got into the conversation, " Okayyy.. then why the hell are you staring at him? " They were starting to piss me off a bit.
     " Woah, I always thought you were ga- " I cut Valerie off, " What? No! Do you idiots even realize how much I.. I hate him?! " I shouted out, making coach Garcia blow his whistle at me, which made people surrounding us laugh, it was not amusing. Valentina seemed to be in deep thought about something, and my instinct was telling me that she had a thought about me, which would explain why she was looking straight at me. That's when she spoke up, " So, you really hate Ethan, huh? That's really funny.. you know, I think I might have something fun to please you, may I recommend something? " I nodded my head slowly, slightly confused, who knows what this girl could have in mind, she smirked at me, " Why don't we bet on something? " " Uh, bet on what exactly? "

     " I bet you can't make Ethan fall in love you. "
