"How do you think we did?" The red asked, making Jungkook smile.

"I think we did great, Tae. I'm glad I was partnered with you. I would have failed with anyone else."

Taehyung couldn't help but smile shyly at his crushes words while the raven stood silently with a frown.

"Jimin, do you think we did good?"

All the raven could do was nod. His words were stuck in his throat, keeping his mouth shut.

"We get the grade by the end of the day, but I still think we should celebrate. What do you say? Same cafe we started at?" The blonde suggested and wrapped his arm around the reds shoulder.

Jimin felt his chest heating up. He knew exactly why, but was putting it in the back of his mind. He noticed the blush plastered on the other. It was always a permanent paint.

"I think that's a good idea. Jimin?"

All he could do was nod again.

"Well, I guess we will go our separate ways now. Lunch has started and we're still standing here with empty stomachs." The blonde spoke with a smile, his white teeth sending blue butterflies into the boys in front of him.

"Wait, take some. Grandma insisted I give them to the both of you." The red spoke before he could walk away.

Jungkook smiled at the cuteness radiating from the other before taking some of the white chocolate cookies. He knew the other was waiting for him to take a bite just by the smile he had on his face. Who was he to ignore that?

"So?"

"So good. They're always good. Thank you, Tae." The taller male ruffled his strawberry hair, making sure to squish his cheek after. All the red could do was fix his glasses in embarrassment. "Do you um... want to sit with me today? I'm sure my friends would love that."

Taehyung shot his head up upon hearing this. He never thought this day would come. It was always a dream of his. He was thanking the universe for being on his side recently.

"A-are you sure?"

"Of course! Who wouldn't want to sit with you?"

Now he felt unsure. He knew the answer to that question, but couldn't let his words out. No one wants to sit with him. During lunch, you'll always find him sitting in the library, reading a book that has nothing to do with his world. People make fun of him all the time and the more people make fun of him, the less people want to sit with him.

He looked at Jimin, hoping for someone to hear his thoughts, but Jimin was looking at the floor, clearly in his own thoughts.

"I... what about Jimin?"

Maybe if someone he knows a little more is with him, things will be easier.

Jimin looked at him and then looked at Jungkook who was already looking at him. Taehyung didn't notice the words being spoken with their eyes. Not that he would have been able to understand anyways.

"I think he's fine. He has other stuff to do, right, Jimin?"

There it is.

Once again, they were right back to where they were before. Jungkook doesn't want to come any closer to the raven. His feelings are too strong and being close to him any longer will drive him crazy.

All he wants to do right now is kiss the pout coming from him and hold his hand to make sure he doesn't leave. But you can't hold onto someone who is willing to let go. As much as he loves the boy in front of him, he can't win. So from now on, it's loved. Past tense. He wished it never happened. Maybe things would have ended differently if he wasn't so different. Maybe he wouldn't be so judged by the only person he trusted with himself.
