Epilogue: Mistletoe

"An ugly sweater?"

"For future reference. You'll enjoy them one day."

It was Christmas Day, Taehyung's favorite day of the year. This year was special, different, and more colorful. He had to make it that way. It felt like his grandma was standing right there.

They were opening presents, due to Taehyung's request of it happening first thing in the morning. Who were they to say no?

Jungkook sighed and placed the ugly sweater next to him, his heart racing at the gesture but he was never going to admit his liking to this ugly sweater just because Taehyung got it for him.

"Now, you open yours." The silver squealed.

The raven smiled at the boys excitement. It made him wish Christmas was every day.

He began unwrapping, his heart racing. This would be the first Christmas present he's ever opened. No money was put into his hands. Instead, it was a large box filled with small items. Things like, candles, cookies, handmade cards with different days on it, some candy, a larger envelope, and a blanket.

"These things make me feel better when I'm sad. They're grandmas cookies and you're supposed to read these once a day. That's why they have numbers on it. The blanket is supposed to keep you warm, and safe. You'll have me with you whenever you put it on. And the candy, everyone likes candy." Taehyung explained with a shy smile, his eyes shifting away from the glossy ones looking at him.

"Seriously? He got that and I got ugly sweaters? Do I mean nothing to you?" Jungkook whined, a pout plastered on his lips.

"Don't worry, there's one more for you."

Jungkook's eyes sparkled. He opened the large bag quickly, a gasp passing his lips. "Oh, Tae."

Inside, was his own blanket. With it, was a small box, an envelope, brownies and hot cocoa balls, another small box, and lastly, a mistletoe.

W-what's this?" Jungkook asked, taking out the leafs.

"Y-your gift. Our gift." Taehyung blushed.

Both boys frowned at this.

"Tae, what do you mean?" Jimin asked softly.

"I-it's um... it's a special day... it's the perfect day to..." He trailed.

"Wait, is this what I think it is? Are you wanting to make love?" Jungkook asked with a teasing smirk. Taehyung said nothing and looked away from both of their eyes.

"Is that what you want, Tae?" Jimin asked, his voice soothing.

Taehyung let out a small hum, his head nodding hesitantly.

"Is this where you want to start or was this just you saying it without words?" Jungkook asked, holding up the mistletoe.

"B-both."

The blonde hummed and stood to his feet, gesturing for the others to stand as well.

"What about the rest of the presents?" Taehyung asked.

"You can open them once you've lost your virginity. How does that sound?" The eldest asked, a smirk playing on his lips. Taehyung gulped.

Jimin smiled and grabbed the boys hand, guiding them all into a small circle. "I think you should open them after. Think of this as a very special first gift to you."

Taehyung blushed, his glasses being pushed to the top of his nose to hide his embarrassment.

"Yeah, we're taking these off. They'll break if you keep them on." Jungkook mentioned and took them, placing them onto the Christmas tree.
