Taehyung stood by his locker, waiting patiently for the blonde to walk down the hall.

It's been almost three days since he last heard from Jungkook, and he was worried.

It was now Monday, so he hoped to see Jungkook walking down the halls. Maybe he was just ignoring him because he was still upset. He had every right to be, but he still waited.

As soon as the bell rang, he sighed in defeat. He knew he wasn't going to come, considering they've already gotten detention for being late, so he made way to class.

Maybe Jungkook was taking care of his mother and didn't have time.

He sat in his seat, his eyes not being able to leave the empty seat next to him.

The raven soon walked in, his eyes trailing to the gloomy silver-haired boy who sat with his head down. With a frown, he then made his way to his seat and contemplated on disturbing the other's silence.

"Pst, Taehyung."

The said male immediately shot his head up, startled by the sudden voice. He turned around, Jimin letting out a small smile.

"Is... is he coming today?" He asked, referring to the blonde.

"I don't think so." Taehyung sighed.

"Then... can I sit with you today?"

The silver looked up at him upon hearing this, his eyes filled with excitement. He then smiled and nodded, gesturing for him to hurry and sit next to him.

"How are you? I feel like we haven't spoken in forever." Jimin started with a smile, finally feeling content.

"I'm okay. I'm sorry I haven't been spending time with you. I've just been busy." The silver told him.

"Busy hanging out with Jungkook?"

Taehyung's smile slightly falters upon hearing this. "It's not like that, I promise."

"I can see you, Taehyung. You don't even look at me when he's around. Don't worry, I'm not upset. I just wish I could exist when he's around."

"You do, Jimin, it's just... I'm sorry, okay? I can't have both of you being mad at me at the same time." Tae mumbled.

"Why is he mad?"

"He found out."

Jimin thought for a moment until it hit him. "Shit. How the hell did he find out? Did you just... tell him straight up?"

"Not technically. I tried to lie at first but he's not stupid and I'm not good at lying. I know this is what worried you, and I'm sorry. It's my fault, you shouldn't have told me. I didn't even get to see if he or his mother was okay before I left. He just wanted me to leave and told me he didn't want to see my face." Taehyung sighed out. Jimin frowned.

"What happened to his mom? Is she okay?"

"I'm sure is wasn't as big as they thought. Maybe it was just a scare. They didn't tell me what happened, I just wanted to make sure they got there as soon as possible. He hasn't responded to any of my texts and he's not here today. I really hope he's okay." The silver mumbled, biting his lip.

"He's really pissed off. Just give it some time. Maybe it was a big scare and he has to stay home to take care of her. It wouldn't be the first time." Jimin told him, making him feel slightly relaxed.

Jungkook laid in his bed, his eyes swollen and tired from all the work they've been doing. He couldn't find himself to get up. All he wanted to do was lay here and think about his mother. Think about the times he's never going to have with her again.
