that question was not answered by the gods or whatever higher being their was so instead name picked up the fish and slowly walked to atsushi.

he backed up, not because he was scared mostly because he was shocked that a baby kitten fell through the roof and was now approaching him with a very determined look in it's eyes.

standing on her hind legs name tried passing atsushi the fish, the fact that she wasn't even four inches long came to haunt her.

looking at her tiny baby claws name came up with a plan.

if atsushi wasn't freaking out before he was now, this kitten started climbing him, using it's claws to grab into his clothes so it can climb up.

he closed his eyes, ready to accept whatever fate this kitten had decided to give him.

you can imagine his surprise when he felt fish on his lips, he opened his eyes and saw that the kitten was trying to feed him the fish.

no long afraid he gently grabbed the kitten by it's stomach, careful not to hurt it. "you want me to eat the fish?"

instead of answering name just tried to bring it closer to his lips, eventually Atsushi just gave up and ate it, the fish was cooked so it was safe to eat.

it was delicious-cold but delicious, sitting down he held the kitten in his arms, "did you come down here just for me?" he asked.

'no' name thought, 'but if I had known you were down here that would have been my intention'

this was insane, she's actually with atsushi nakajima, he's been abused for his whole life. 

she can't-she can't let that happen, he deserves all the love and attention in the world- he deserves everything.

name turned around so she was facing Atsushi, slowly she placed one of her paws on each side of atsushi's neck, it was the best form of a hug name could give Atsushi.

without noticing name started to purr, Atsushi felt a very strange sensation in his bones- this is affection?

slowly Atsushi started to pet name, at first it was done with fear but eventually he felt more comfortable with the cat, then he hugged it back.

without warning Atsushi started to feel sleepy, as he fell asleep with name in his arms, his heart finally knew something called peace.

with the sleeping atsushi cuddling her name made a silent vow; she would do anything to protect Atsushi.

*four years later*

Atsushi sat on the edge of a lake, he was currently contemplating his existence, what he would do now that the orphanage kicked him out.

"I have to turn to a life of crime!" he said dramatically, "I need to rob the next person that comes by! I must feed my cat!"

it was at that moment his beautiful cat named name hopped down from a large trashcan and presented Atsushi with a large piece of bread that she stole from a store, she presented it to Atsushi.

he looked at the cat then got on he's knees and covered his mouth to show he didn't want to eat it, "name..you've got to eat it, your even more starved then me-"

without warning name slapped his hand away using her famous love tap, when that didn't work she rolled onto her back and gave Atsushi the cutest eyes she could muster.

atsushi looked at name for three seconds before giving in, before eating the bread he looked to the left and saw a man drowning.

he wanted to ignore it but then he saw crows go onto the mans legs that were for some reason bent weirdly.

he turned his head, prepared to ignore it but then name slapped him with her cute kitten paws.

"you want me to save him!?"

"meow" giving into her atsushi jumped into the water.

as atsushi pulled him out of the water name scratched her face with her back paws, at this point she is very used to living as a cat and behaves a lot like one.

it was finally time for the main plot to start, name had a perfect plan on how to protect atsushi and the others, it was genius.

seduce all the bad guys with her cuteness, it's a very big brain plan, and she first has to start with dazai.

quickly she smacked dazai's sleeping face, when that didn't wake up she got on top of him and started jumping.

sure enough that worked, name was a pretty skinny cat so she didn't weigh that much but it was enough to wake up dazai.

like a man coming back from the dead dazai arose, the first thing he did was look at the cat that was about to bitch slap him.

realizing that his cat was being weird atsushi grabbed name and trapped her in a hug, "sorry! I didn't realize my cat would slap you!" he quickly apologized.

instead of answering dazai just looked grumpy and said "dang"

atsushi was completely taken off guard by that comment, "dang? I just saved your life a thank you would be nice"

dazai just got up and sighed, "I was try to commit suicide! and you just so happened to ruin it"

"suicide!" atsushi repeated, a little bit shocked, name wiggled her way out of his arms and started to climb onto dazai.

dazai's mood took a dramatic shift when he saw the cat trying to climb up on him, "whose this cutie?" he asked while grabbing a hold of name.

"uh, this is my cat, her name is name" he said grabbing name back from dazai, feeling worried in case dazai would hurt his kitty.

dazai sighed again, "my number one goal in life is to commit a clean and honest suicide without causing others harm and it seems i've caused you harm so tell me boy, are you hungry?"

it was at that exact moment that Atsushi's stomach rumbled, dazai laughed. "just your luck I'm hungry too..."

he then reached into his pockets and showed just how empty they are, "but it seems the river ate my wallet" he continued.

"THERE YOU ARE YOU BANDAGE WASTING MACHINE" on que kunikida suddenly showed up and dazai got the brilliant idea of a lifetime.

"ah, I've got an idea, I'll make kunikida pay for you!" he announced, loud enough for kunikida to hear.

"DON'T WASTE MY MONEY YOU IDIOT!" dazai laughed name rolled on her back demanded belly rubs that she got from atsushi.

then came the scene where dazai and atsushi introduced themselves, she felt herself being picked up by atsushi.

her tail swished back and forward in excitement, it was finally starting....and she'd finally get food.
