After talking with her Mum for a while about her aunt, Anna went to her room. She wanted to be alone and take in all this information. Her aunt had breast cancer and it wasn't looking good. Cancer was also how her father died which must have shown that it was hereditary in her family. Her Aunt had lived with her for 4 years until she decided to move to Sydney. It broke Anna's heart at the time, but it was what was best for her.
Anna got into bed and immediately started to cry. What was she going to do? She couldn't think properly so she did what she thought was right but when another person answered the phone, she felt awkward.

"I'm just saying though, you don't go to a party to g-"
Luke's phone started ringing and he went pale.
"Its Anna, Michael. Its fúcking Anna!" Luke pushed his phone into the middle of the table.
"Answer it you dipshìt!!"
"No! I'm too nervous!" Michael scoffed and picked up the phone and answered it.
"Hello!" Luke face palmed, he was going to scare the poor girl away.
"No this is Michael, his friend. Are you okay?" Michael looked worried and caught eyes with Luke. Luke stuck his hand out with a pained and nervous expression.
"Here's Luke, hold on." Luke grabbed the phone and motioned for Michael to come out to the car with him. They were finished their food and were just talking, so they (well, Luke) decided to leave.
"Hello?" Luke's face fell when he heard Anna's soft sobs coming from the other side of the line.
"Calm down, darling. What's up?" He looked worried and once they'd reached the car, Luke's heart was sitting in his stomach.
"I'm so sorry. I honestly don't know what to say or do and- yeah I know but I just wish there was something I could do to help." Michael watched Luke's eyes water and then a tear fell. Michael was growing increasingly worried and he didn't even know the situation.
"Yeah, okay. I'll text you, yeah? Okay, love you. Bye." Luke turned to Michael and broke into tears.
"What happened, man?" Michael reached out to Luke, motioning for a hug and Luke gladly accepted it.
"Her Aunt has cancer and thats why she's coming out to Sydney." Luke wasn't sobbing, but he wasn't very calm either.
"I'm so sorry bro. I don't even know how to react. I'm just really sorry." Michael was usually good in emotional situations, but he didn't know how to react in this one.

Anna was really thankful for Luke on the phone. After she'd talked to Luke, she FaceTime'd Mirte and told her. Mirte was always good at comforting her and that little push from her made Anna feel a little bit better. She'd thought of what she should say to her Mum when she went downstairs but she didn't know how she would take it. She walked downstairs to see her mother watching re-runs of 'Friends' and once she'd sat down beside her, she opened her arms in a warm embrace.
She couldn't wait to do that to Luke, thats for sure.
