When the plane landed, Anna looked around for the taxi that her aunt had sent for them. There was a man standing and he had "COLLINS" written in block capitals and all she could think about was that time Will Smith moved to Bel-Air and he thought it was the police, so all she could do was smile the whole way to the man and his car. It sort of relieved her that he was talking to her mum, so it wasn't going to be an awkward 15 minute car drive.

no problemo, love ya :-) xxAnna pulled up to her aunt's house with her stomach twisting and her heart pounding. She didn't want to see her aunt the way she saw her dad- weak and feeling ill.
"Hello?" Anna's head hung low as her mum was walking through the door of her aunt's bedroom which had to be moved downstairs, due to her feeling weak.
"Ah, Emily! How are you?" It wasn't a voice Anna recognised, instead it was a nurse who helped her aunt out with food, washing etc.
"Hello, you must be Melissa! I'm good, how's you?" Her mum continued to talk to her as Anna left her luggage in the kitchen.
As Anna walked through her aunt's bedroom door, she gasped and ran out again. It didn't even look like the woman she knew. She was pale with little to no hair and an oxygen mask on her. Anna couldn't get the picture out of her head and did what she felt would give her reassurance- she called Luke.
"Hello? Are you excited?!" Luke didn't hear her crying and when he did, he felt like a right bellend.
"Luke its not her. I refuse to believe it, i-it can't be her!" Anna had made her way outside and was now sitting on the step of the back door.
"Anna, I know its hard but honestly, I'm a believer that everything happens for a reason. I bet she's so happy you and your mum have agreed to come out to Sydney to see her! Please don't cry. I hate hearing it." Luke pouted on the other end before realising that she couldn't see him. By this stage, she'd gotten her breath back, however she was still crying.
"I know, its just so hard to watch. She doesn't look like herself at all, she just looks like something from a movie." Anna was trying to think of the positives of this, however she couldn't find any.
"Why don't you talk to her? She's still your aunt and she loves you just as much as you love her and I'm sure thats a lot. If worst comes to the worst, I'll come pick you up, yeah?" Anna agreed and slowly got up with her legs feeling shaky.
"Okay. Thank you Luke, I really appreciate it." She said her goodbyes as did he, hanging up and letting out a breath of relief.
Anna walked around the corner to see her mum still talking to the woman in the blue uniform and her aunt lying in bed, the oxygen mask now lying low on her neck. Although she looked comfortable, Anna wished she didn't have to watch her in this state. She walked over to the bed and lifted Karen's hand in hers, holding it tightly.
"Hi Karen, I was just wondering how you were? Aw, damn that's a stupid question, um... I'm here now and I'm older! You can finally see me in person and not through a tiny phone or computer screen." Anna tried to make the conversation as cheery as possible and her aunt knew she was. Karen squeezed lightly on Anna's hand before opening her eyes.
"Hi darling, how have you been?"
