I giggle, looking at the damage caused by the spell I just used. Well, Dolorem Ipsum is more fun than I ever could have imagined. I wonder what else is in here.

That Aster kid is being coddled by all four of his friends. How stupid are they that they're not paying attention to the imminent danger that awaits them? So both of their friend's legs just got broken, worry about yourselves. I suppose it doesn't matter in the end, this battle will end with only one person left alive.

Me.

Oh, well. Wouldn't it be a shame if I ended a life right now? How horrible that would be! I flip through the pages of the spellbook, delighted that spells work without that damn tree. I come across a rather interesting incantation, one that I never even thought existed. Excited to try it out, I say the words written on the page, "Torquent et vertunt, laborem et torquent, trudunt moenia, tolerant dolorem, fervescunt et laborant." While reading the words aloud, I stare directly at the team's healer.

A wise decision on my part to take out their healer. In the footnotes below the spell I just used, it explains that it will cause death. Well, that's one down then. Their most valuable member can't save them now. I've seen what he can do and getting rid of him first was my first step to win this fight.

I walk over to the group, watching as Dakota begins to wail and groan. Tears come to his eyes and his skin begins to turn red. "T-There's something inside me. I don't know what's happening," he says as he falls to the ground.

The kid with white hair, Klaus, I believe, runs over to him. He stares down at Dakota with worry. Dakota begins to scream and I chuckle, watching the blood seep from Dakota's nose. Archie stands up quickly, waving his hand at me. Three times, his attempts fail. Once his ability finally does work, the spellbook is thrown out of my hand.

Archie rushes over to me, his eyes filled with fire. That's ironic, isn't it? I light my hand and throw a bit of fire at him. He dodges it and the flames spread in the grass. I move my hands in a circle, creating a ring of fire around Archie. He stands in the center of it, his fists clenched tightly. "What have you done to them? Where did you get that book?" he asks.

"It's just a little spellbook. I only used bone-breaking and bloodbending spells," I say, smiling sweetly at him. I walk over to where the book is laying on the ground. "How would you like it if I tried a spell on you?"

The book gets thrown about ten yards away from me. I turn back to Archie and cross my arms. "So you'd like to play dirty, hm?" I thrust my hands forward, making the flames creep in on Archie.

"Tell me where you got that book right this instant," he demands, trying to keep away from the flames that surround him.

"Well, that doesn't seem to be any of your business. Christian told me that spellbooks are only for the King's eyes, yes? Seeing as you won't be King very soon, you don't need to know!" I say, grinning.

Archie laughs. "Oh, please. What are you on? You think you can defeat me?"

"Oh, I know I can defeat you," I say, pulling a dagger from my pocket.

"You–You can't," Archie says, his voice beginning to break.

"I can," I say, throwing the dagger at him. It pierces through his gut, making him step back into the fire. He begins to cry, ugly and disgusting sobs. He doesn't even scream, he only weeps as he falls back into the flames.

I smile. Three more to go.

But just like that, the fire disappears from the ground and something cracks, followed by a boom that shakes the earth. Someone lets out a cry of agony and then everything falls silent.

I turn around and find something that brings horror to my soul.
