They all were in front of Heimdall now.

"Leave it to me", Loki said. "Good, Heimdall...", he was cut off. "You aren't dressed warmly enough", Heimdall said. "I am sorry", he said.

"Enough!", Thor shouted causing Loki to be quiet. "Heimdall, may we pass?", Thor asked.

"Never has an enemy slipped by my watch until this day. I wish to know how that happened", Heimdall said. "Then tell no one where we've gone until we've returned. Understand?", Thor said passing through.

Others followed him, while Loki stood there.

"What happened? Your silver tongue turned to lead?", Volstagg said passing through there laughing.

It was nothing new. He had always been inferior compared to his older brother. Yet, at times, he was way more reasonable, knowledgeable, and a good decision maker than him. But things weren't always fair, were they?

"Be warned. I will honor my sworn oath to protect this Realm as its Gatekeeper. If your return threatens the safety of Asgard, Bifrost will remain closed to you. You'll be left to die in the cold wastes of Jotunheim", Heimdall warned.

"I have no plans to die today", Thor said. "None do", Heimdall said.

Heimdall turned his sword in the control panel. The great turret fired, the rainbow light of Bifrost energy blasted out of it. The Bifrost opened at the end of the platform upon which Thor and his five comrades stood, and they were already in Jotunheim.

The group trudged behind Thor across the frozen wasteland, shielding themselves from the howling wind and cold. The place was a darkness. It looked dead, lifeless, as if all ended here. The aura of the place was monstrous.

Loki looked around them, anxious. He saw a hooded figure, and walked towards it. He was curious.
