Lauren's pov

I'm used to cole looking over at me occasionally during a game but tonight was different cause it didn't matter if he was on the ice or the bench he would look at me. Even mid shot he would look at me and I couldn't help but blush I don't know why. I don't know if it's due to being so confused and my emotions have been at the surface or what. The game came to an end and we won surprise surprise next week is the game opener for the actual season so I'm excited for that. I was getting my stuff together to leave and talking more with des
Des- I noticed a certain someone couldn't keep his eyes off you tonight
L- I know it was weird like he's stolen glances before but nothing like that
Des- he's so confusing
L- too confusing for my liking
Des- why don't you go over to his place for a change and talk to him
L- and say what
Des- I don't know just talk about anything talk about tonight's game or something
L- what if he has someone over there
Des- have you heard him lately or seen any girls over there
L- no not in a while actually not since the night I headed to your place

Des- interesting but I really think you should talk to him

L- I could fall into the trap

L- I don't know like if he tries anything my emotions are everywhere I may kiss him instead of fighting it
Des- just don't kiss it's pretty simple
L- if it was easy to not do you think 90 percent of this team would've already done it with him

I gave her a hug then drove home and I saw he was already home. I sighed and walked over to his house. Here goes nothing!
