(Y/N) felt like he could behead any demon that was in his way. He watched a man suffer and die in his arms. It was probably one of the most traumatizing thing he witnessed in his life.
The trio of Tanjiro, Zenitsu and (Y/N) were now walking into the mansion in front of them, but not before Tanjiro gave the box Nezuko was in to the two kids outside.
"Tanjiro.. Hey, Tanjiro.. You'll protect me, right? If anything happens, you'll protect me.." Zenitsu quivered and sobbed while walking behind (Y/N) and his best friend.
"Zenitsu.. I'm sorry, but.. I broke my rib and leg in my last fight and they haven't healed yet." Tanjiro answered truthfully, much to Zenitsu's disappointment.
"WHAAAT?! BROKEN BONES?! YOU CAN'T BE HURT, YOU CAN'T PROTECT ME! AND THAT MEANS I'M GONNA D-D-DIEE!!!" Zenitsu screeched, and (Y/N) pinched the bridge of his nose.
"Then I'll protect you, if that makes you feel better." The (H/C) haired boy grumbled.
"Yaaay! I'm not going to die!! Thank you so much!" That seemed to calm Zenitsu down. For now at least.
Two sets of footsteps could be heard behind the trio that entered the mansion. It was the two child that were supposed to guard Nezuko's box.
"Don't follow us in here!" Tanjiro scolded them.
"Uh.. Mister, your box is making scratchy noises!" The boy tried to reason.
"I said to stay near it! That box holds the thing I value most. More important than my life!" After Tanjiro's speech, a drum could be heard as it startled Zenitsu and he accidentally pushed the burgundy haired male and the sister to another room. Right after that, another drum was hit, and the door closed, teleporting Tanjiro and the girl away.
Zenitsu immediately started whining again after not finding the two missing people. "WE'RE GONNA DIE! DIE, DIE, DIE! TANJIRO ISN'T HERE TO PROTECT US!"
"Didn't I just say that I'll protect you?" (Y/N) asked, but Zenitsu either didn't care or didn't hear it.
The (H/C) haired male walked off, and the boy started dragging Zenitsu after him while calling out to his sister. "Teruko! Teruko!"
"NO! SHHH! DON'T BE TOO LOUD! WE'VE GOTTA GET OUTSIDE!" Zenitsu yelled, even though he was the loud one.

"Of course I lost them! That idiot keeps yelling and yelling! How the heck did he even pass the Final Selection!" (Y/N) yelled to himself out of anger. He was about to turn a corner when a large demon appeared.
(Y/N) was about to pull out his katana but was interrupted by a guy that wore a boar's head.
"Beast Breathing, Fang Three: Devour!" The guy screamed, and with two slashes he decapitated the demon and used it as a jump board and kept running.
"Jeez. What a wild animal." (Y/N) muttered and walked up to a door and slid it open.
Lo and behold, behind the door was Zenitsu with the boy, a demon in front of them. The weird thing was that Zenitsu was in a stance, ready to attack.
"Huh?" Was all (Y/N) could get out of his mouth as Zenitsu spoke.
"Thunder Breathing, First Form: Thunderclap and Flash!"
The demon's head was sliced off as Zenitsu charged forward with a loud boom, almost like a thunderbolt, leaving trails of electricity behind him. One thing (Y/N) noticed on Zenitsu was that he was asleep.
"HOLY-!"
(Y/N) was interrupted by Zenitsu yelling and jumping. "GYAAH! IT'S DEAD! HE SUDDENLY DIED?! WHAT THE-?! WAS THAT YOU (Y/N)?! OH MY GOD THANK YOU SO SO SO MUCH FOR SAVING MY LIFE!!!"
Right after Zenitsu's yelling, a few doors opened in a row, then a balcony's door. After that, the room somehow rotated and the three males were thrown outside of the mansion.
Luckily (Y/N) could save himself and the kid, but Zenitsu fell unconscious after the fall. Someone's yelling could be heard in the distance.
"BOAR RUSH! BOAR RUSH!" The person headbutted the door leading outside, yelling like a madman. "HAHAHAHAHA! I SENSE A DEMON!"
'Wait, I recognize this guy! He was the one that stole my kill!' (Y/N)'s eyes widened after realizing what the guy yelled. 'Oh no, Nezuko!'
(Y/N) immediately got up and rushed for Nezuko's box before the boar headed guy found it.
"AHA! FOUND IT!" The aggressive boy yelled after noticing the box between a few bushes and ran towards it, not even noticing (Y/N) already rushing to save his friend.
Before the box could be slashed, (Y/N) slid in and shielded it with his body. "STOP! I WON'T LET YOU TOUCH THIS BOX! IT'S IMPORTANT TO TANJIRO AND ME!"
"Hey, hey, hey! What're you saying?! There's a demon in there! Don't you know that?!"
"Of course I know that! So you better back off you boar headed idiot!" (Y/N) retaliated.
"FOOL! YOU TALK TOUGH, BUT YOU DIDN'T DRAW YOUR BLADE! IF YOU'RE IN THE DEMON SLAYER CORPS TOO, THEN SHOW ME HOW YOU FIGHT!" Without giving (Y/N) a chance to react, he was kicked in the nose hard, breaking it and knocking him over along with the box.
Tanjiro was already there looking at what was happening. Flashbacks of his family came into his head.
"I'LL SKEWER YOU ALONG WITH THAT BOX!" The aggressive guy started hitting (Y/N) with the hilt of his swords, sometimes missing and hitting the box. He tried to stab the box with both his swords, but (Y/N) shielded it again with his body, getting stabbed in his right lung. (Y/N) screamed in pain, snapping the burgundy haired male out of his train of thoughts.
"STOP!!!" Tanjiro snapped, and disappeared from his spot, punching the guy in the stomach as hard as he could.
Zenitsu was already awake, looking at what was happening in shock. (Y/N) gestured for him to come closer and to help him get into the building. He couldn't really speak with the injury in his lung.
Zenitsu, although hesitantly, helped him in and watched him turn into his demon form, shocking the yellow haired boy even more. After healing his injury, which took a few minutes, (Y/N) switched back into a human and walked out, still feeling a stinging pain in his chest.
"Thanks for the help, Zenitsu. You're a life saver." (Y/N) gave a thumbs up to the older boy, then turned his attention towards the two fighting boys who were now in a fistfight, kicking and punching.
To end the fight, Tanjiro headbutted the aggressive boar guy, which seemed to calm him down slightly. After taking a few deep breaths, he reached for his mask and took it off, revealing a feminine face with pale green eyes, long black hair with blue ends.
This revelation shocked Zenitsu as his jaw immediately hit the floor, and he started his usual yelling. "A GIRL?! HUH?! THAT FACE!! WAS HE A GIRL ALL ALONG?!"
The now calmed down guy just looked weirdly at Zenitsu.
"What? You got a problem with my face?!"
