"alright kid, what happened to you." it's been a day since eleven closed the gate. now everyone was curious as to where the hell amelia had been. they were all gathered at the byers house wanting to hear her story. this included the four boys, eleven, max, joyce, jonathan, nancy, steve, and hopper.
"it happened the night will went missing. i was taken by these men while i was taking out the trash. they put some sort of white cloth around my mouth causing me to pass out and wake up in a room surrounded by these same men. they were speaking a language i didn't understand." she took a deep breathe in remembering how scary the situation truly was for her.
"there was a particular man that spoke english and was telling me what they were saying. the other man was saying 'that for an american i was beautiful' and when i told him to tell them i wasn't the person they needed, the same man slapped me and spoke again in russian. he apparently said that i shouldn't talk. the man told me i was meant to be there to be trained as an assassin. i didn't know why and they said if i didn't comply they would-" she took a gulp not wanting to say it.
"they would what?" joyce said grabbing amelia's hand trying to comfort her.
"they would have killed dustin." she looked at dustin and watched as his eyes grew wide.
"that's when i said i understood. i didn't want anything bad to happen to my brother or even my mom. so they took me to my cell and i looked around to only see male prisoners around me as they whistled at me. when i got to my cell they threw me in and all i could do was wait for the next day."
"naturally i didn't sleep at all and solider's came and grabbed me out of my cell. i will always remember the hard grip they would have on me afraid that i would escape their grasp. almost as if they were afraid of me and i never knew why. they took me to the glass and pointed to the gate, which i didn't know it was the gate at the time. of course i made a snarky remark about russian's not being able to fix the hole in the wall, which wasn't the smartest of choices."
hopper just glared at amelia not happy by her choice, but amelia continued.
"he told me that they brought me there to kill demogorgans. to show them that the russian's were the superior ones. they wanted control over it. i still don't know why. that was the day they first sent me to the upside down. when i found will, i promised him i'd see him as much as i could. and i did. everyday i was sent down there while will was there, i was there. the russian's were tracking me and i knew when to leave will when it would start ringing."
"eventually i was told why i was there. my father is the reasoning behind it."
"dad? but he's dead." dustin said.
"yea he is but he was a russian soldier and was called the boogie man. he was one of the strongest soldiers at the base, which explains why the russain's held such a tight grip on me afraid that i was just a strong. our dad didn't want to live the life he was living anymore and requested to leave. the commander only let him leave if he reproduced and allowed his first born to be an assassin for them. which just so happened to be me. but a couple years later my dad got my mom pregnant again, with dustin. the commander wasn't fond of this and sent men to kill him. our father didn't fight back. he wanted to die. because he didn't care for us, for mom. he only cared about his freedom. he never truly wanted us." she looked at dustin with sad eyes and he just had his eyes glued to the floor.
"so they did exactly what they said they would do. they trained me for a year to become an assassin to kill many demogorgan's."
"with what?" hopper asked her.
"guns, or my hands." everyone just stared at her with wide eyes.
"your hands?" mike questioned not believing it.
