(y/n) pov:
After Risky took that Genie-Lamp I had risked my life for, I decided to go after her. Besides, I have to do something to pay off my debt.
I spent the entire night and morning preparing for this journey by equipping multiple and numerous gadgets and equipment. My martial arts training would also come in handy, aside from my intellect.
I was in the workshop with my bags ready, about to blaze out. That was until Mimic stopped me dead in my tracks. "Wait, my boy! You forgot something!" Mimic said.
I turned around and raised a brow. "Hm?" I replied.
He then approached me with this weird-looking covering for the torso and arms. "Here. You might find this useful." Mimic said.
"What is it?" I asked.
"It's a wingsuit. I've been working on it for the past couple of months. It's still in its prototype. But I need someone to test it to make sure it actually works." Mimic said.
I tossed my bags down and put on the wingsuit. It was black, with orange strips on the sleeves. I looked at myself with it on. I curled my lip. "Meh. Kinda looks ridiculous, but whatever." I said. I turned back around to face Mimic. "I'll be gone for the next couple of days. Maybe less. If I die, you can have everything. My house, my robots, my computer, my-" Mimic then cut me off.
"You're not going to die. I know it!" Mimic reassured me, putting his hand on my shoulder.
I looked up at him and smiled warmly. "You know, Mimic. For an odd old man, you have a good heart. I'll tell you that much." I replied.
"Thank you, (y/n). I haven't heard anything like that in forever." Mimic said.
I smiled warmly at him before patting him on the shoulder. "Well, I won't take any more of your time. I'll be on my way." I replied.
"Go safely, my boy."
I turned around to face Mimic. I smiled at him. "I'll do my best, but I'm not promising anything." I responded before walking out of the workshop.
As I was walking out of the workshop, I was then greeted by Sky and Bolo. They looked at me. "Hey (y/n). Where're you going?" Bolo asked.
"I'm going after Risky. She stole that damn Genie-Lamp I fucking stuck my neck out for just to get. I ain't gonna let her just waltz away with it." I responded.
"Wait... You're going after Risky, by yourself? Are you nuts?!" Bolo said.
"Does it look like I'm lying to you?"
Bolo sighed in defeat. "No. It doesn't."
"Have you guys seen Risky anywhere? Anywhere at all?" I asked.
"No, we haven't. But we did see her ship sail towards the desert not long ago." Sky replied.
"Then that's where I'm headed." I said.
As I started to walk, Sky stopped me. "Hey, uh... (y/n). I could give you a lift. It's quite a ways away. You're not going to be able to get there by foot." She said.
I looked down and curled my lip. "Hmm... I mean, sure. It'll save me the hassle of having to walk there." I responded.
"All right. Come with me." Sky said.
(Time-Skip)
We arrived at this hatchery shortly after. It looked heavily organized and the eggs had their own unique design to them. I looked around for a little before Sky spoke up. "Okay. You have everything you need?" Sky asked me.
