I stood on the beach looking towards the docks, heels in my hands, trying to catch my breathe.

There he was. He stood there, looking so beautiful under the evening Sun. His perfectly tanned skin and his golden blond hair quiffed up. I momentarily lost my breathe as I remembered those heart-melting green eyes hiding behind his shades.

I felt shivers go down my spine as I watched his biceps contract as he put his luggage to truck to be sent to the hotel.

Once he saw me he ran towards me and hoisted me up as he gave me bone crushing hug.

As he pulled back he looked at me from top to bottom and said " I mean I know you love me but don't you think this outfit is a little too much?"

" Shut up! I just went to dinner with an old friend."

He pouted " C'mon! I wanted to take you to dinner"

" Maybe some other time, I'm going to go back to my room"

" What?! I just came back!" Justin whined

" I'm sorry. I feel very tired. I need to rest."

" Okay then, at least let me walk you to your room."

" Okay."

As I was laying on my bed in the empty room, wearing a baggy t-shirt, shorts and makeup free, I started addressing the thoughts that have been lingering in my mind.

The reason I am so tired is because Justin makes me tired. Our relationship is so complicated. We obviously have feelings for each other and we always act like a couple but he's a player and I don't want a player and he doesn't want to settle down.

Then there is Victor. Today when I was talking to him I felt something different. He doesn't see me as that 14 year old girl who needs to be protected because she is like a baby sister to him. And I most definitely felt a connection with him. A kind of understanding that me and Justin would never have.

" There you are!!"

I literally fell off the bed.

" Shit sorry!" Maureen cursed.

I sat down at the edge of the bed and Maureen followed.

" So how was your dinner date?"

" It was good. He's living a great life in Australia and he's still doing his automobile engineering degree. Apparently the last year is tougher than this one. I guess so cause my uncle..."

" SERIOUSLY?!"

I almost fell off the bed again.

" Sorry. But like seriously? That's what you guys talked about?! You two are just perfect for each other!"

" What does that mean?" I asked genuinely confused.

" Nevermind."

" Oh and by the way Justin came today"

" What does that bastard want?" that was not Maureen's voice, it was Alisha, standing near the doorway.

" It's his sister's wedding. What do you think smartass?" I said, slightly annoyed that she judges Justin for everything.

" Well ok. He can do whatever he wants for his sister's wedding and not anything else," Alisha said with a deadly face.

Ok now she's pushing it

" He can do whatever he wishes, " I said. From the corner of my eye I saw Maureen signalling something to Alisha. Probably asking her to stop. But she didn't

" That does not include playing with you" she kept pushing

Now I am mad.

" I will decide who is going to play with me and who is not. Not even my mom has been able to stop me from doing what I want so I'm sure as heck I will not take orders from you"

With that I exited the room and ran to the place my mind was set on.

As I was sitting on the beach, Alisha unexpectedly sat next to me. She hugged me from the side.

" I'm sorry that I pushed you. I just don't want to see you get hurt. I remember what you were like when he hurt you last time. I just feel like your better off without him. I'm doing this only because I love you. He doesn't deserve you. He-"

" Shut up" I cut her off. I turned towards her so that we are facing each other. " I love you too" I said as I bear hugged her. " sorry babe. I wasn't mad at you. I was just mad about how fucking annoying my life is."

Ally giggled. " Well there is a party somewhere here, the girls were talking about it. Wanna go?"

" Hell yeah"
