Maya's POV

I woke up to be greeted by a very deadly glare from Ally.

If looks could kill I'd be buried 6 ft underground.

Of course me being smartarse I am just simply sat up on my bed and said " Yeah, yeah. I know I'm a great friend n you're thankful for what I did," and before Ally could say anything I ran straight to the bathroom.

" Mayaaaa," Ally was banging on the bathroom door. " I'm going to kill you."

" But you know you liked it," I yelled over the sound of the running water.

" Hehe yeah," Ally giggled. " He was sooo cute. He's mysterious and..."

" Please spare your giggly moments. Go tell someone who wouldn't throw up," I interrupted.

" You're such a moment ruiner," Ally whined and with that I heard footsteps meaning Ally has left.

Hopefully the girls will keep themselves busy.

After what felt lyk ages of searching I finally found Justin's room. It was a risky decision to come and talk to Justin but I had to because we were enemies within just a few seconds. I don't know about 'boyfriend' and 'girlfriend' but we used to be great friends. We talked about so much and I needed that.

Just like I guessed, when I slightly pushed the door it opened. Idiot never keeps his door closed, if you know what I mean.

Anyways I slowly made my way towards the entrance and I could hear him playing his drums.

Damn he's good. I thought. And apparently I'm not the only who thought so cause I heard some female voice at the back say.

" Wow. You bang those drums hard"

Justin smirked and as expected he said " Drums aren't the only things I can bang.

Urh. He has NOT changed.

I decided to interrupt the two so I loudly shouted " Justinnnn!!" with a huge (fake) smile.

As I walked in I saw who that voice belonged to some blonde ho. Not that I care.

" Oh," I said as I saw her. " I came to talk but it seems like you're busy with someone else. Guess I'll just get going. I turned around, a little smile on my face, waiting for his reaction.

" What?? No. No. I'm not busy...I'm totally free...talk to me!" Justin stuttered.

I decided to play a little game. Let's exactly how desperate he is.

" No its fine Justin," I said and walked out of the room.

I stiffle a laugh as I saw Justin stumble out of his house and try to find me.

The girls washroom. Yes. That's the right place. If he really loves me he would go anywhere and everywhere. I thought.

I did exactly as I thought, rushing into the girls washroom at the little park a few meters away from where Justin was staying.

10 minutes passed and Justin was still outside the washroom asking me to come out and finally I complied.

When I stepped outside I saw Justin's face was pale but it soon changed when I cracked up.

" Oh my god seriously?! You scared me Maya," Justin said with a tone of annoyance in his words.

" Hehe. Sorry. It was a simple test," I said, trying to hold back my laughter.

" Well did I pass?" Omg. His eyes.

Get a grip of yourself. Remember what you came for. My inner voice said.

" That's irrelevant," I said as the laughter died and my tone became more serious. " We need to talk."

Justin's eyebrows furrowed. " Yeah ok." He gestured towards the park

We walked a few meters side by side in silence until I broke the ice and spoke up.

" Remember the first time we met, when your parents brought you, Amanda and Hailey to our house for lunch. We had so much fun."

Justin smiled.

" Those days were so simple and amazing, " I looked at Justin, who in return looked at me. " We were great friends at that time so I think we should stay that way."

Justin replied, " So you're telling me that you forgive me for all the shit that I did to you but I'm officially friend-zoned."

" Yeah that pretty much sums up the whole thing."

" Oh damn. I was hoping alot more. I need to run and find Brianna."

I rolled my eyes at that stupid comment and walked away.

" Bye Justin," I said as I made my way towards my house.

" Bye friend," Justin said as he walked back to his own house.
