Unfortunately for them, that's not the case, not anymore.
When Angel Gate was first built, many had the opportunity to start fresh, have a new life.
But now, those spots of opportunity have already been taken.
The biggest companies, the most powerful individuals, they were there in the early days, when everyone was in equal footing.
Now, unless your parents are those that are part of the Elite, you'll never be at level of the most powerful, at least without getting your hands dirty.
Every city has its own underworld, it's an open secret to its citizens that many of the city's important figures have close relations with the underworld's criminal families. Their symbiotic relationship is well known to those with knowledge of Angel Gate's history.
On the outside, Angel Gate is seen a city of beauty, a persona of perfection.
But to those in it, those who were with the city since its inception. It holds an equally dark shadow.
