"Just hold up a second!"

Blue narrowly missed shoving his arm through the crack of the closing elevator doors, opening them so he could step in and quickly jam the close button to shut out the others following down the hall.

"Man," He sighed, "What are you, training for the 'running down the hall' Olympics?"

Hannah made a sarcastic face, crossing her arms, but Blue just continued, "Cause you might win" He nervously watched the red numbers tick down.

"Listen– Hannah,"

She cleared her throat, turning to him with narrowed eyes.

"Sorry," he sighed, "Doctor, I just don't think this is a good idea"

"Why?" She asked, making it clear she was doing whatever she wanted no matter his answer, "Because to me, it sounds like you haven't made any progress"

He held up a finger to defend himself, but she turned to him sharply and continued before he could say anything, "That, or you've grown a little too attached to being the only one to know something about the creature and you're keeping things from us."

"Okay– first of all, I am not keeping stuff!" That was a lie, but he had to at least try to defend himself against this violent woman. "Second of all, don't lump yourself in with those guys, those guys are losers."

The door chimed and opened up into the hall outside the observation center. She turned to him and said, "You're an adult for god's sake, don't say things like 'loser'" She scoffed and began walking down the hall, again racing like she was in a car.

Blue rushed after her, catching up to her outside the door which was locked.

"Type in the password" She commanded, nodding to the keypad.

"No" Blue shook his head immediately, but they both looked over their shoulder at the elevator which opened, the rest of the council coming down the hall.

"Hurry, before the losers catch us" She said sarcastically, crossing her arms.

Blue hesitated another second, looking back over his shoulder before huffing, clenching his jaw at Hannah before jamming in the code and basically shoving her inside, closing the door just as the others reached the door, knocking after them when it closed on them.

Hannah huffed in surprise when she saw the large open space, her heels tapping against the floor as she walked closer to the glass wall in front of them.

"Wow," She breathed, looking out at the ocean which seemed so vast, even from inside the room.

"You haven't even seen him yet and you're already amazed" Blue said, coming to stand next to her.

"We don't have anything like this in the Keys lab. You've probably always seen stuff like this though, with who your parents are and all that"

"Oh come on," Blue put his hands in his pockets, falling back on his heels. "I happen to like your quaint little lab. I got to see it a bit when I was first called here"

Hannah clicked her tongue and glanced at him, "Don't patronize me"

"I'm not!" He held up his hands defensively, "You really seem to think I'm some kind of awful person"

She hummed, "You don't want to know what I think" She raised her eyebrows at him.

He might have thought she was being playful– if she wasn't being so mean.

When she found nothing but sea in front of her, predictably Finn not gracing them with his presence, she spun around to look at the room. She put her hands on her hips and looked at him.
