It had been around 30 minutes in the Ghostface Museum, as Mindy opted they call it, that Detective Bailey approached them and voiced he had an idea on how to catch the killer. It was quite simple, lay out the bait and wait for the trap to go off. In this case, the bait would be Sam and Tara. He believed a call would reach the girls from the potential Ghostface and Kirby could track it down.

The group was located in Central Park in the back of the van with Kirby while the two Carpenter sisters just pretended to go on about their day, casually taking a stroll in Central Park.

Coralia was seated in between Mindy and Ethan, who was chewing on some Cheetos he had bought in a store nearby. He bought Coralia some gummy bears because he remembered they were her favorite and they were right there in the snack aisle.

Mindy had been eyeing Kirby's computer from the moment the blonde had started clicking away on the keyboard. It was until holding her words back got the best of her that she spoke up.

"So we're really doing the phone tracing thing that never works in the movies." She began, capturing the attention of the others. "It'll be all, 'Keep him talking, Sam. Two more minutes. I've almost got him.' And then he hangs up just before we can get a lock."

Mindy tilted her head at Kirby. "I can trace a call in under 15 seconds." The blonde said confidently.

"She's got you, Min." Coralia chuckled.

Mindy, however, leaned forward. "Well, you've got them out there as bait."

"Because the killer usually calls from somewhere nearby," Kirby stated.

Coralia swallowed a red gummy bear, looking at Kirby. "What if Ghostface isn't here at all? I mean, they could've gone back to their lair or something." She said.

Kirby shook her head. "Fact about Ghostface: he's always there with you, mask or not. So he'll be here somewhere." She looked at Coralia.

Mindy hadn't finished her questions though and before Kirby could turn back to the computer screen, she opened her mouth one more time. "You think they're safe because it's broad daylight in a public place?"

A somewhat annoyed Kirby turned to look at Mindy. "Look, I'm here, okay? And so is Bailey."

"This is exactly how our uncle Randy died. Broad daylight. Public place. Yanked into a van. Stab, stab, stab. No more Randy." Mindy replied and Kirby just hummed in response.

Coralia, Ethan, and Chad looked at each other with the same expression on their face. Ethan rose his bag of Cheetos, offering them to the other boy who dug inside the bag gladly.

"Hey, Sam? Stay frosty out there, okay?" Kirby spoke so Sam could hear her through the earpiece.

"Why is our only role in this plan to stay in the van with an adult acting as a babysitter? I feel completely useless." Coralia sunk into her seat, chewing on gummy bears.
