Coralia wasn't a fan of the subway, or public transport for that matter. First off, it was crowded all the time. Two, rarely were there ever any seats. And three, it's not sanitary at all. She's sure that one out of three times she's gotten sick in her life has been because of public transport.

She stood next to Ethan, practically glued to his hip since people were pushing against her. Mindy was further from them, every once in a while, she would look up to make sure that Ethan hadn't stabbed Coralia. She was on edge, worried for her friend, and sure she had sniffed out the killer.

She saw Coralia laughing along with Ethan and it made her eyebrow twitch, like something about it was off. Mindy felt positive he was just trying to get her to trust him for a later event. She had seen all the thriller movies there could be, and she knows how masked movie killers work.

Coralia heard her phone chime in her back pocket. "Oh, that must be one of the others." She said to Ethan, referring to the other half of the group, as she pulled her phone out.

Mindy
Leave GF alone and come talk with me.

She tried turning her phone away so Ethan couldn't read the text but he already had. When she looked at him, his jaw was locked and his eyebrows were furrowed, eyes turning red. It was a rare sight to see him angry, but one look at Coralia and his face softened, just like that.

"I'll be back." She told him simply, stuffing her phone back in her pocket as she made her way over to Mindy.

Mindy smiled at the sight of the girl as she finally reached her side. "My signal's been buggy. I sent you that text like five minutes ago." She said.

Coralia exhaled, leaning on the train wall so she could steady herself. "You know, Min. If you think he's Ghostface, why say it to his face and hide away? I mean, wouldn't those be reasons for him to kill you?" She asked, but Mindy smiled.

"Good question." She said. "But it's a total classic thing. You don't kill the person whose finger is pointing at you. 'They said it was you and now they're dead. You killed them.' See?" Mindy grinned.

Coralia raised her eyebrows. "Huh. Didn't think of it like that."

Mindy hummed. "That's why classic killers have to kill the ones least likely to be suspected as killers because it leaves room for the others. They make others trust them so they defend them. And point their finger at someone else." She explained.

Coralia frowned, looking back to where Ethan stood, smiling at her and waving shortly. Was that what it was? Was he just pretending for the sake of getting away with it? Was it all a lie?
