Chapter 4: A plan untold

A man immediately grabbed Taehyun by the wrist before dragging him inside the storage room, Soobin grabbed the youngest and the girl

Beomgyu cursed under his breath as he saw the door open, he wasted no time and grabbed Yeonjun by the shirt and pulled him as he ran

"YA- WOAAAAH" The older male was about to complain but suddenly screamed when a person almost pounced on him making him stumble before running with Beomgyu

*Slam*

*Bang*

*Bang*

The room was filled with deep breaths and banging from the door Yeonjun was kneeling on the ground as he slowly looked up and saw two men staring at the six of them "How dare you threaten us, boy?" The other spoke as he grabbed Taehyun's collar making him grunt "At least you saved six lives don't you feel proud?" Taehyun tightly replied with a glare making the man scoff, Beomgyu weakly stood up, knees a bit shaken from earlier, he slowly approached the man before grabbing him on the wrist "Put him down" Beomgyu spoke sternly

Y/n watched in horror, this wasn't the time for arguments... who knows what the men will do if they get on their nerves

The man scoffed before letting go of Taehyun, Beomgyu then lets go of the man's wrist before pushing Taehyun away from the man

"This is why people like you die early. Always feeling superior" The other man spoke, Hueningkai only shook his head before hugging his knees, and Y/n did the same before feeling Yeonjun's presence beside her "Are you okay?" he whispers softly, she kept her head hung low while nodding, Yeonjun hesitated as he tried to wrap an arm around her shoulder, He sighs before deciding to only sit beside her

"We heard you all earlier" The man spoke as the tension died down "Why didn't you come out and say hi?" Soobin bitterly replied "We didn't know if you all were infected or not" The other replied "What you heard us right? We were talking" Beomgyu speaks earning a nod "We didn't want to take chances"

"You think the infected bastards talk? What are you expecting them to talk about? 'have you eaten a person yet? I have, they were juicy'" Beomgyu replies

"You gen z people find everything funny?" The male argues earning a nod from his partner

"Aren't you one? You look 12"

"Beomgyu-" Soobin choked a laugh as he slapped his friend on the shoulder

"12 Heads taller than you" The male argued back

Beomgyu stared at him blankly before turning to Hueningkai who bit his lips before looking around

"That's the comeback I used when I was in first grade, at least level up your humor first" Beomgyu mumbles "I am a Gen Z I'm an 02 almost to the 19's I should get the respect I need" The man replied, Yeonjun stared at him while he sat next to the girl, Soobin massaged his temples as he looked down, Taehyun nodded

"Call me Jae and this is my brother Kae" The... 02 introduced himself and his brother "Yeonjun... nice name... Hyung" Yeonjun introduced, Beomgyu poked his inner cheek with his tongue stopping a smile as he looked at his hyung, Jae nodded blankly "I don't care," he says

Yeonjun gave a look of disbelief while Hueningkai scratched his cheek covering his lips

Taehyun looked around the spacious room, hands on his hips as he walked around

"Do you have a secret personality or what?" Y/n spoke as Beomgyu groaned while seating himself beside the girl "Whatchu mean?" he asks before stuffing his mouth with a chocolate bar, she looks over to him and notice him pull out another bar "Here" he says, the girl smiles before taking the chocolate "I mean... Last time I checked you were always funny and playful, I didn't know you had a strong and courageous side" She says as she opens the bar "The more you know" he replied with a laugh "There's just a feeling... maybe its adrenaline I don't know..." He speaks unsure of his words "But when I see one of you or all of you in trouble my mind and body gets along and goes 'Do something' you know what I mean?" He explains before looking at her, she slowly nods as she felt her body melt, she felt safe

"Am I not smelly?" He suddenly blurts out making the girl look at him in confusion "I'm sticky and bloody" He explains turning his head, exposing his neck showing the dried blood on his neck and his shirt, she was about to reply when Soobin suddenly entered the scene

"Woah this isn't only fans Beomgyu calm your shit"

"Piss off"

Y/n laughed as Beomgyu gave Soobin a dirty look

"Yeonjun Hyung when do we get out of here" Hueningkai whispered as he approached Yeonjun who gave him a shrug "Don't know, our next move is all up to smartass over there" He replies pointing over to Taehyun, Hueningkai sighed it was getting darker

"I know you have something in mind" Jae spoke as he walked up to Taehyun, "Why do you care" Taehyun replied bitterly "Do you want me to throw you and your group out?" Jae snarled "Do you want to get eaten with us?" Taehyun snap back calmly "That threat won't scare me anymore" Jae whispered tightly

"Hyung I can make that threat happen"

Jae kept an intense glare not barking back, Arguments aren't really helpful in these situations so Taehyun decided to do the honors and set his pride aside "I was thinking of getting out of here" He replies, Jae scoffs "Then go to the tallest mall and save yourselves?" Jae whispers with disbelief "How selfish not even letting us tag along is that how you thank us after we saved your asses?" He adds

"Ah so you do know we weren't infected from the beginning" Taehyun replies earning a 'tsk' from the older male

Not far from them, a person approached a stock of foods

"The mall is burnt into ashes since earlier, I'm only bringing them there then disappear" Taehyun's voice echoed, The person stopped in his position and listened

"To where?" Jae asked

"I don't know, somewhere? Can you leave me alone I can't think of a plan" Taehyun replied

"You know where the soldiers are going to pick up the survivors do you...?"

"And if I do?" Taehyun replied

"You're a bastard" Jae's voice echoed

"What? It's not like the helicopter can fit six people. This is already my nicest way of telling them to get lost" Taehyun spoke with a sharp tone

The person felt their blood run cold accidentally dropping the can of soda they held

Taehyun turned and saw a silhouette disappear

"Crap.."
