Chapter 5: Suspicion

"Great my phone died" Yeonjun groaned in annoyance as he dropped his phone on the ground "This is why I don't go for the expensive things" Hueningkai stuck a tongue out "It's not like you can afford an iPhone anyway" Beomgyu spoke, before taking a sip from his can of soda "What's that hyung? You lost your phone?" Hueningkai started "Aish" Beomgyu whispered as he raised a fist, Hueningkai covered himself with his Sprite can, The person knew Taehyun like the back of their hand, they needed to act like they knew nothing to avoid conflicts from the genius

Taehyun remained seated, quiet, eyes stern and serious as he looked at the people one by one, if someone from their group heard him they would at least act odd... right?

Yeonjun only continued whining about his phone to Y/n

Y/n was laughing

Beomgyu was arguing with Hueningkai

Hueningkai argued with Beomgyu

Soobin laughed while trying to stop the two

Jae was unfazed

Kae wouldn't care if he heard the plan so it couldn't be him

Taehyun poked his inner cheek with his tongue as his finger traced around the can of soda he held

'Who are you' he thought, This was never part of his plan. He mentally cursed before hanging his head low

"Yah that's just sparkling water why are you acting drunk" Yeonjun suddenly comments making Taehyun look up "I'm just thinking, keep your nose to yourself" Taehyun replies, Jae snorts at Taehyun's attitude

Hueningkai tip-toed to look through a small window "It's dark" He informs the others

"Let's... go when there's a little bit of sun" Taehyun speaks as he looks at his friends, taking the opportunity to say their next move while the siblings were away

"Why can't we go now?" Soobin tilts his head "Don't you guys want to rest?" Taehyun asks in confusion "I mean we can just rest elsewhere I don't like them..." Y/n suggests making the others nod "Where?" Taehyun crosses his arms

"I don't know?? Somewhere?"

He felt his skin grow cold at the reply, he turned to Beomgyu "What?" Taehyun asked "Look I can't give you an exact location of where I want to rest all I'm saying is somewhere away from those crappy siblings" Beomgyu explains "I mean unless you have other plans?" Yeonjun questions "Yeah you are quite the unpredictable one" Hueningkai adds with a laugh

"What the hell..." Taehyun whispered, He felt uneasy

He felt anxious at their curious stares

"You good?" Yeonjun grows more confused

Why... why did Taehyun suddenly feel... fear?

Why did he feel caught..?

"Tyun?" Y/n grabbed his sleeves in worry making him look in shock "I'm sorry I just have so many things in mind right now" He replies as he slowly sat down with the group

"What if we get charged with murder?"

"Beomgyu what-"

"No Soobin, cause me and Yeonjun killed like 10 of those cannibals before we came in this filthy room" Beomgyu explains to Soobin "Well that's on you both, my hands are clean" Soobin flexes, "no it's not! you and Taehyun are definitely charged with trespassing private property, first, you force your way in the storage room and next is entering the mall without permission" Yeonjun points a finger at Soobin making him laugh "I just love it when you get defensive while I don't give a single crap" Soobin replies

"This cement is too cold for me" Hueningkai complains as he sits up "It doesn't give a damn about you so bare with it" Soobin argues "Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed" Beomgyu speaks "We don't even have a bed Gyu" Y/n speaks "I swear to god Beomgyu sleep with one eye open" Soobin threatens "bet you got that in best comebacks in google"

"YOU PIECE OF-"

"ow hyung your elbow!" Hueningkai shrieked

"AH! HYUNG THAT'S MY WRIST!" Taehyun complained

"HA DUMBASS" Beomgyu laughed

Y/n laughed as she stayed in place, The storage room was too dark thus, Soobin got confused about whom to choke

She then felt a warm presence behind her, Snuggling close "It's cold" Yeonjun whispered "Your body is warm Yeonjun" she whispers back, her hand that lays flat on the floor suddenly felt another pair of cold hands making her flinch "See, cold" He whispers, smiling when he heard her laugh. She only closes her eyes as she felt him rest his chin on her hair

"I can't sleep what if the brain-eating thing enters the room" Hueningkai suddenly spoke "We'll take care of it but I'm sure you'll be fine" Beomgyu commented

"Who are you calling brainless?" Hueningkai argued

"the Jae guy"

"Do you wanna die?"

"Oh crap he's still awake"

"Taehyun's been quiet" Soobin comments

"Leave him alone he's probably playing connect the dots in his brain" Hueningkai chats

"I do that sometimes" Yeonjun includes himself

"Stop lying we all know you play candy crush in there" Beomgyu interrupts

"shut up Kai" Yeonjun warns

"All of you shut up!" Jae warns
