"YOU'RE NOT ALONE. DAMN IT !!" Seonghwa said serious
"Scar!!" "I'm here." I replied with a big smile plaster on my face.
"hmm you woke up and got ready?" mom said little surprised.
"Mom !! I'm always on time but you never see" I said in a very calm tone, cause I don't want to lose my cool.
" Guys !! morning car's ready" the boy smiled as bright as sun.
"Yes Sanie coming." I said taking my backpack and basket.
" Someone's really happy" San teased me.
" of course I'm happy... we are spending summer with Auntie."
" Yeah but remember to behave I don't want you to make me question my upbringing" mom order sitting in the car.
"I never did that" I argue back.
"We'll see that" she scoffed
"but-" san stopped me holding my hand. I sighed.
I am so lucky to have a friend like San, he knows me so well. Sometimes i wish that my mom could understand me that well, but for that you have to spend time, which my mom doesn't have. But I'm so happy that i have Sanie by my side.
"Turn on the music" san said and i did.
"Before taking highway let's grab some drinks" mom said.
" Mom you know i can't drink and drive" san joked "we all broke into laughter"
"San hon you're so funny" mom said laughing.
After 10 min. San and mom came back with drink while i was basting " Cruel Summer " in the car.
" Here lil Tay !! " san hand over my Caramel Macchiato.
Every year it's the time I feel so happy, it all started 10 years back when I was 8. mom got a contract for Mrs. Park's office decor. So she invited me and mom to their farm house on the countryside. Since then mom and aunt became BFFs and every summer we all spend together. But for me its especial as I get to spend time with the boy I have strong crush on for over 10 years. Seonghwa, we are friends I know him since primary school, he's such a pure, calm and handsome boy. And I'm a fool who picture him in every song, every story I read, in every romantic movie. I want this summer to be special.
"We're here" San said excited.
San's mom live in Seoul, so my mom raised him, he always spends summers with us. And seriously I really love our bound.
"Janette how are you darling? I missed you so much." Aunt hugged mom cheerfully.
" Oh my you're aging like a old fine wine. I missed you too" my mom replied back.
"Look at this beautiful lady. Aren't you gorgeous." She hugged me and I also did with a reply " not as you, i missed you so much"
"Me too love" San coughed to steal the attention " I guess I'm invisible"
"Oh my my look at this handsome boy. hon how can I forget you. btw are you working out?"
" A little " san said hugging aunt.
While my eyes are wandering everywhere for someone.
"wheres Seonghwa?" san asked.
"I'm here " we me and san turned our head and saw Seonghwa hugging my mom from behind.
" Missed me Jane?" his smile bright as ever.
