Chapter 11

Nicole has made some changes to her house, the gate, the doors, the locks and security system.

Clifford: I know why you're doing this.

Nicole: He is no longer welcome here!

Clifford: But he owns this house too.

Nicole sighs.

Clifford: Does he know about the renovations and all the upgrades?

Nicole: Why would I even tell him?

Clifford: I rarely see him with Isabel.

Nicole: I don't care. It's their lives not mine.

Clifford: What if he breaks up with her and gets back with you?

Nicole chuckles. "Do you just want to welcome him back with arms wide and open?!"

Clifford: Hey, it's not what I meant okay?

Nicole: I really don't want to assume, Clifford but I don't think I would still want to get back to him. After all the shit that happened.

Clifford: What if he ask me the door key code and threatened me?

Nicole: Clifford, please, it's over. I don't want David back in my life. I am happy with Sean, he should be happy with Isabel! (Walks away)

CJ goes to the living room and sees Caroline.

Caroline: Hi.

CJ: Oh hi.

Caroline: Do you want to talk about something?

CJ: Talk about what?

Caroline: About Ken.

CJ: Caroline um...I think I heard enough.

Caroline: You haven't heard my side of the story.

CJ: I don't think I would still want to hear it.

Caroline: I know it is awkward to you now. I slept with him but it turns out that he has feelings for you. In the first, we really never become lovers, we weren't.

CJ: Fuck buddies, I get that.

Caroline: I really hope that us really never happened so Ken can pursue you and....

CJ: He doesn't need to. I don't have feelings for him.

Caroline: CJ, I just want you to know that I am fine and I would be happier if you'll give him a chance.

CJ: What are you talking about? Caroline are you out of your mind?

Caroline: You are having a difficulty understanding what we have but CJ the guy is in love with you and us, we are just friends!

CJ: That is bullshit!

Caroline: Why are you so close minded? This isn't what I expected you to be knowing that you fucking live in the big apple for freaking five years!

CJ: Say whatever you want but....(sees David, Jade and Ken walking closer to them)

Caroline turns her head. "Oh hello guys!"

CJ: Shit! (Mumbles softly)

Jade walks to CJ. "Hi."

CJ: Hi. Umm I'll just go to my room.

Ken looks at CJ.

CJ notices that Ken is looking at her and walks away.

Ken: Caroline.
