Chapter 8.

Have you ever been on top of a mountain or a hill?
And when you’re on top of it all you expect it to be cold due to its high altitude.
But not this peaks.

Have you ever heard of a story from true history that was so harrowing that it left an impact on a specific individual or so?
When the elders tell you tales of some-kind you expect them to be only using it to scare you.

But Conjur Peaks, proves it selfs otherwise.

It’s 3AM and It’s quiet, so quiet that I can clearly hear the snoring of the crew members out side of the cabin room.
I thought they were supposed to be on guard duty?

Ever since I was feeling the need to wee, I decided to take a time to the bathroom, and while I was making my way there I noticed that everything is so red, and yet the halls of the ship was dim and dark.
I was there for minutes, and while I was there,
I heard this very loud thud that sounded like it came from the main deck, so after I finished up I checked out what it was, and upon walking there,
I found that the crew members where wide awake with there half worn armors that only made it to there chests and shoulders, and they were all awaken from that loud thud, and then, it happened again, that’s twice now.

The crew made there way up the stairs leading up to the main deck,
Keep in mind that the main deck is mostly unoccupied during the whole flight and it is only used during warfare air combat and as well as for weaponry storage, given that no one was even around the area during the previous hours of the whole flight, the crew even told us not to enter the area them selves, so it begs the question,
Is someone there?

Captain Rylee figures out the answer to that question with the hair on his back standing, he whispered to bridgit; “bridgit?... get everything from the arsenal, right now. Including the salts.”

Bridgit: “sir we still need to stock up some ammunition, were out of rounds.”

Rylee: “Oh goodness. Bridgit, put on your armors and wake Clinton up. We are leaving.”

I found my self a little distracted with the commotion on the ship, but I just decided not to pay it mind longer and headed back to sleep. Just let the grown ups handle it.

I head over back to the cabin room and went back to my sleeping mat,
I turn over to snows direction on the other side of the room and found her mat to be empty, she wasn’t there, but assuming that she just went out to take a wee as well, I just lay there for 20 minutes however she hadn’t come back yet.

*Knock knock*
Someone’s knocking on the door,
It’s Miss Bridgit, she came to ask if everything is alright and if we need anything, I said “no, nothing at all”
Bridgit: “Ok, have a good rest.”

“Wait! …Do you mind if you could check the bathrooms if snow is there?”

“No, not at all, I’ll go check.”

“Thank you.”

Bridgit came to check up at all possible restrooms on the ship that took her longer than expected, but as she returns, she came running up to me and asked in a very stressed and frantic manner;
“Ruby! Snow isn’t anywhere in the ship, where did she go‽”

“I don’t know.” I said.

As the lights return, we head over to the flight deck and captain Rylee told us that we will be taking off in an hour.
“NO! Not yet. Snow’s missing captain.” Said Bridgit.

“Yes captain we need to find her. Please!”

“Oh… goodness…” Rylee replied with a silent distress, the most blank stare I've seen in a while had sat in his eyes and it looked at all of us. But nonetheless he agreed on a search, given that we bring Kirt with us. Because whatever it is we are about to face right now, It’s probably out of the ordinary, so might as well bring magic for better sake. According to Rylee that is.
“What’s happening here?” Kirt said prying in from our conversation.

Rylee: “Oh great! Kirt, you do magic right?"

Kirt: “Of course. It might be a little to late for this time of the evening but I do know a lot of good-dream spells.”

Silence breached between us for a few seconds.

"...You all look like you saw a something scary."
