Chapter 3

The next morning I woke up to a text on my phone from Damien saying he sent a car to pic me up I got sad cause I thought he was gonna be the one pick me up I got up took a shower as I was in the shower all my mind keep wandering to was if they would like me I mean really I haven't changed yet Plus I don't know anything about being queen I cant even keep control over the kids I babysit sometime how the heck am I going to help control a nation to get my mind off of things I put some music on and started getting dressed then I hear one of favorite songs come on lips are moving as I'm choosing my outfit I see my green one I choose that one and get dressed and curl my hair when I'm done I turn around to leave the bathroom and stop right there standing in the doorway is my mate my heart starts pounding and I stand there staring at him so if your ready we might wanna go I hear him say oh yes your right I said as I came back to earth I said good bye to my parents and we walked out to the car and he opened the door for me why thank you my kind sir I said with a hint of sarcasm in my voice yes of course madam me said using the same amount of sarcasm I did rolling his eyes as he said it then jogged around the limo to the other side and slipped in. So is there anything thing I need to know before I get there no "he" says u just need to stop being so nervous everyone is gonna love u, when we get to palace I get out of the car and stare it was so beautiful standing at the bottom of the stairs I saw Damien's parents we start walking towards them as we get closer I look behind them and see Casey. Wait what is she doing here Damien I say what is Casey doing here oh she's my sister "he" says oh I didn't know that hello Katie I hear Joanne say hello mrs drake thank u for letting me stay here I hope I can be a good queen just like u were. Casey runs up to me hi Katie I can't believe that we are gonna be sisters she said omg me nether I nearly screamed while we started jumping up and down we are gonna be sisters we are gonna be sisters she chanted while me and her danced around glanced over at Damien and he has this shocked expression on his face how do u know my sister well she was the first girl to talk to me when I started school so we sorta just became best friends he looks over at Casey to see her nodding in agreement well that's good at least I have one person I know here so I won't be as nervous lets get inside so Katie can get unpacked I hear mr. Drake say and me and Damien need to leave for a meeting i got sad cause I didn't want to see him go "Damien" looks at me what's wrong "he" says I don't want u to leave me here by myself you won't be by yourself my mom and Casey are here you will be fine trust me ok I say hurry back I watch him and his dad walk toward the car he turns back around jogged back to where I was and leaned down and gave me a kiss I love u Katie I will be back soon. After the guys left us girls go in and they show me to Damien's to room to freshen up and tell me to meet the in the garden for tea and cake I look around the room and notice the colors are red and black and notice the pics on the wall, I leave the room and try to find my way to the gardens and get lost well isn't this just great I don't even know where I'm going and they are waiting on me and here I am don't know where I'm going wait maybe if I just retrace my steps. I start walking the way I came and then make a couple of turns and there's the garden "i see you have found your way"miss drake said yea I got lost at first but I finally found my way well that's good, after we have tea they take me on a tour of the palace. Later that day when the guys come back me and Damien go to our room so we can change and get ready for dinner lucky it's informal after dinner Damien takes me for a walk and we play 20 questions I learned we have a lot of thing in common he like a lot of the same music, he likes to read, and he knows how to dance, and his favorite colors are red and black which I already knew cause of colors in his room as we are talking I fall down and start to scream Katie I hear "Damien" say it hurts what's wrong with me he picks me up and runs me back to the palace and screams his parents names they come running along with his sister what's wrong I don't know we were walking and all of the sudden she falls down screaming call her parents Casey maybe the will know what's going on and tell them to get here quick "Damien says I scream again make it stop I can't handle next thing I know my parents are there mommy what's happening to me "I say honey it's time, time for what I don't understand what are u saying oh sweetie do u remember that talk we had "she" says I try to remember what all she said oh no now I remember I'm changing into my VAMPIRE.........
