After I stand there looking stupid for a while I hear so are you gonna let me in or are keep out here all night huh oh yea sure I see his parents behind him hi I'm Joanne this is my husband George and are son Damien it's nice to meet u I'm Katie my mom comes up behind me dear bring them into the dinning room dinner is ready don't just keep them waiting in the hallway let them in.
As we sit down for dinner I feel these eyes on me I look up and see Damien staring at me I feel that stirring in me again why does keep happening Katie are u gonna sit down I look around and see everyone sitting down staring at me I blush and sit down. After dinner is over we leave the dinning room and go to he living room my dad asks me to sit down yea dad what's wrong well honey there's no easy way to say this but your going to live with the drakes!!!! What I'm not moving in with people I don't know why are you making do this. Well it's simple he's your mate, What how do you know that I don't even know that Damien jumps up now that's a lie I know you felt something when we looked into each other's eyes and don't lie to me I looked away cause I knew he was telling the truth your lying oh yea he says look me in the eyes when you say that I look up about to say he same thing but I get caught up looking into his eyes my breath hitched and realized I couldn't cause I knew what he was saying was true I looked over at my parents they had a small smile on their face I looked back at him fine I say when do I have to go. Tomorrow my dad tells me you are to be Queen so need to learn all u need to know are you serious that fast Wait I'm sorry Did u say Queen why do you say that I look at Damien aren't you some ordinary vampire he busts out laughing oh Katie u are to funny no I'm not I can't believe you don't even know who the vampire king is my heart stops then everything goes black, I wake up with something cold on my forehead and feel someone caressing my cheek I open my eyes and see I'm in my room I turn and there's my mate wait I tell my self have I already claimed him as mine all ready what if doesn't want that what if he doesn't even like me what if I'm ugly to him or something Katie look at me he says I can't look at him what if he can tell what I'm thinking Katie look at me with authority I look up at him there is nothing to be scared of he says softly I already love u there's nothing about u I don't love I knew about you before you moved here why do u think your dad got a new job cause I couldn't stay away from you much longer I don't know what came over me but I kissed him it was just a peck on the lips but I felt my heart stir I pull back shocked I guess he was right I will move in but u can't just leave me by myself u have to help with my studies to when you aren't busy, do you promise yes he says now come on let's go downstairs our parents are waiting oh and Katie I look back yeah I say he looks at me then kisses me then pulls back and walks out the door with a grin on his face I run after him that was not fair when I catch up to him and we start going down the stairs I feel him take my hand I look down and smile. When we get to the living room I see our parents smiling at each other Damien looks down at me then back at my parents mr. And mrs. Johnson my mom says oh sweetie you don't have to be so formal just call me Holly after all we are gonna be family soon mom!! Stop everyone starts laughing well I think it's time for us to take our leave, after they leave I rush up stairs to my room and start jumping on my bed in excitement not only did I get my first kiss today but it was by my mate I go to closet and take out my suitcases and start packing I can't wait to see what's gonna happen next between me and my mate I hope everyone one likes me as there new queen I go to sleep that night and sleep better than I have in a long time.
