Percy Jackson is the daughter of god. A god who also happened to be a king. Most people would think they would be set for life, Percy Jackson however wasn't most people in all aspects of life.
Percy Jackson was insanely intelligent though due the the severe dyslexia and ADHD, everyone (besides her mom) decided she's wasn't including Percy. It was till she lived longer then most greek demigods did she fully realize her intelligence.
Percy managed to get a full ride on a athletic scholarship with promises of being an Olympic qualifier. A marine biology major with a minor in law incase of any more future run ins with the law.
Life was going well till her only friend in their co-ed collage house convinces her to sell math test to the deans daughter and gets her expelled.
Percy has spent the last couple of years trying to put her life together but when her family gets in a car accident, not only does she have to pay the medical bills for her mother and stepfather but also take care of her 7 year old sister.
And for some reason she decides to trust the guy who got her expelled to make cash. And ends up running from the cops for the thousandths time in her life.
She runs straight into an interview and ends up working at a law firm as an associate under the guise of being a recent Harvard Law graduate.
Of course she's running this fraud with her boss, Harvey who she is very stupidly slowly falling for. Gods fighting monsters was easier than this.
