Kageyama harem

Chapter 2- The Arrival

The students climb into the bus. In the front of the bus, Ukai sits with Takashi and the managers sit across from them. The team parents, Suga and Daichi, sit behind the coaches and Asahi and Narita sit behind the girls. Then Ennoshita and Kinoshita sit together with Tanaka and Noya in the seat beside them. In the back sits Yamaguchi, Tsukishima, Hinata, and Kageyama. (to make it simpler. On the right side are Ukai and Takashi, Suga and Daichi, Tanaka and Noya, Hinata and Kageyama. On the right side are Kiyoko and Yachi, Asahi and Narita, Enoshita and Kinoshita, Yamaguchi and Tsukishima.)

"I'm so excited, Kageyama!" Hinata bounces in his seat as they get closer and closer to Nekoma. Kageyama rolls his eyes at the tangerine's antics. This doesn't go unnoticed by a certain beanpole, who glares at Kageyama. Kageyama pulls out his phone. When Hinata looks over his shoulder, he sees his setter was watching videos of a little boy around the age of 8 or 9 holding a bucket of dead rats with 6 baby velociraptors in front of him.

"Opal! Spin!" The little boy giggles as the raptor with a milky-white stripe running down their side spins around. The boy tosses a rat to the raptor. "Good girl!" He hugs Opal. "Onyx! Rose Quartz! Fetch!" The boy throws two rats off camera and two raptors, one with a black stripe and one with a light pink stripe chase it. The raptor with the forest green stripe jumps on top of one with an off-white stripe. "Jade! Stop trying to pin Pearl down. Silly raptor~!" The boy gently lifts the green striped raptor off her sister. "Moonstone, no! That's Onyx's dinner!" He scolds a raptor with a blue-white stripe who's currently reaching for Onyx's rat.

Hinata watches in awe as the boy trains the baby velociraptors. He looks up at Kageyama, whose eyes sparkle with happiness as he watches the video. Noya and Tanaka turn around in their seats to see what their favorite kouhais are doing. Both of their eyes widen as they look down at Kageyama. When the setter looks up, a blush appears on his face seeing the three of them watching him.

"You looked adorable, Kageyama." Tanaka reaches over the seat to ruffle Kageyama's hair. The blush on Kageyama's cheeks get darker as he hears that and he pouts. Tanaka and Noya look at each other before cooing at the blueberry.

"Leave him alone. We're here." Daichi scolds them as they arrive at Metropolitan Nekoma High School. Itatchiyama and Fukurodani arrived earlier and waited with Nekoma's team. Daichi and Kuroo bow to one another as Karasuno gets off the bus. When Hinata gets off, Kuroo, Kenma, Inouka, Lev, Sakusa, Bokuto, and Akaashi go over to him to say hi.

"Hey, Shrimpy.~"

"Hello, Shoyo."

"Shoyo! Hello!"

"Hey, Hinata! Are you any taller yet?" "Shut up, Lev."

"Hello, Hinata."

"HEY HEY HEY! My little student."

"Hinata, if he's being a dumbass you can tell him to shut up."

Hinata smiles brightly at the group, causing their hearts to melt. They scowl as Kageyama gets off the bus. Hinata jumps into his arms and Kageyama catches him, making the group jealous that Hinata would jump into Kageyama's arms and not theirs.

"Tired, Boke?" Hinata nods an answer to Kageyama's question. Kageyama carries Hinata away and follows his captain to their temporary dorms. The tangerine snuggling into his setter's neck. Kageyama cuddles back as he walks, completely oblivious to the jealous glares he was getting from the present members of Hinata's harem.

"Why does King get all his attention?" Tsukishima growls as he sees the tangerine he has fallen in love with snuggling with the Tyrant King he hates so much. He hates how comfortable Hinata is just showing physical affection with King and no one else.

"Yamayama! Let's share a room!" The sudden nickname causes everyone to look at them. Tanaka, Noya, Kinoshita, Narita, Ennoshita, and Yamaguchi blush at the sight. Kageyama's ears are bright red, his eyes sparkling as bright as the moon. However, their hearts drop to their stomach when they see Kageyama's face fall and tears prick his eyes.

"Kageyama?" Hinata looks at his setter with worry filling his gaze. "What's wrong?" Kageyama sniffles and shakes his head. "Nothing, boke. Just a memory surfacing. Sure, let's room together." He wipes his tears with one hand before following the Coaches and managers to their temporary dorms.

The stands still as they process the scene that had unfolded in front of them just moments before. The third years snap out of their trance and quickly follow the duo. Tanaka and Noya run to catch up to Kageyama in hopes of comforting him. The forgotten trio slowly follow the others, still processing. Yamaguchi and Tsukishima stare at each other before jogging to catch up to the group. Well, Tsukishima jogs, Yamaguchi is running after Tsukishima.
