Settled

Jasmine POV
It was another glorious morning. Everyone was enjoying the softness of their beds while being deep asleep.

As usual, Olivia and Chaeyoung were the first to wake up to start preparing breakfast shortly followed by Audrey, Marina, Felicia and Eunice.

They sat in the living room doing whatever they did best; Eunice and Audrey watching an anime while Felicia and Marina were manipulating their phones.

Meilin and I came down at the same time but with Favour following behind us exactly 5 minutes later. "Ok Breakfast ready!" Olive shouted from the dining room.

We all moved to the dining for breakfast and started digging in almost immediately.

"Where the heck are Camilla and Ashley?" Marina asked. "They were still asleep when I woke up. They had a long night" Meilin said.

"Hey, where's Megan?" Audrey asked. "She went out for a run" The two oldest answered. "Woah!!!" Favour suddenly shouted which scared everyone on the table and choked Chaeyoung. "What happened to you guys?" Favour said drawing our attention to what she was looking at in the corridor that divides the living room and the dining room.

Everyone was too shocked and stunned to speak. "You guys look dead. Almost like zombies who were ran over by a petroleum truck which exploded over them but still survived" Favour said so bluntly that Audrey who was sitting next to her had to elbow her.

"Girls? The hell happened?" Felicia asked. "You don't wanna know" Ashley said. "We stayed up all night talking and didn't get enough sleep" Camilla confessed and we all burst out laughing.

"Serves you right" I said, teasing her Ashley got annoyed and pulled Camilla to the kitchen to get a ice cubes in a bowl and another bowl of freezing cold water.

They stomped upstairs as we continued making fun of them. Few minutes later, Megan walked into the house in her sports gear covered from head to toe in sweat.

"Bro~~ Was it the workout of a life time?" Favour asked. "Nope, I still getting used to the climate here so my body is still adjusting" Megan said as she left her water bottle on the kitchen island.

"Go wash up and join us for breakfast" Olivia said. "Kk" Megan affirmed as she quickly went upstairs.

Some few minutes later, Camilla and Ashley came down looking like they had just grown 8 years younger. "Woah!" Jasmine said in astonishment
drawing everyone's attention to the girls majestically walking down the stairs.

Eunice just rolled her eyes and continued eating. "SORCERY!!!" Favour shouted as she pointed her finger at them. "You practiced sorcery without me? I can't believe I ever trusted you, Ash. Such a disappointment. I thought we were friends. I guess not"

"Shut up. It's not" Ashley spat. "It's simply girly hacks" Camilla said as they flipped their hairs at the same time.

"Seriously, You guys don't know?" Eunice asked and we all shook our heads as in no. "Thank Goodness I wasn't the only one" Eunice said relieved as she continued eating then stopped for a while "They put their faces in cold water and put ice cubes on their sleepy bags. That's how"

"Woah~~" Everyone exclaimed. "So that's how to went to parties on school nights and came to school the next day looking like a spring chicken" Marina thought out loud.

Ashley rolled her eyes at us and they sat down to eat. Soon later, Megan came running down too in her over sized tee which one side hung off her shoulder because of how big it was and black shorts which were completely covered by the grey t-shirt.

We had a nice little breakfast together then Meilin, Marina and Felicia did the dishes while the rest of us lounged in the living room.

When they were done, they joined us in lounging. Some of us were on the floor, others on the chairs.
