Chapter 5

"A broken nail is worse than a broken heart."

Claire's POV

"Oh my gosh! Do you remember when we were like in the 5th grade and we all tricked sir Dwayne's girlfriend! We were like 'Hell no! He doesn't really love you he's just saying that. He has a whole list of girls and newsflash, you're at the very bottom of his list' and she was like 'what list? what?' and she even literally cried! Then she asked us if we could prank him for him so we gave him an explosive cake!" Jane recalled.

I actually remember that and it was a pretty sight. We even took a video of it with my camera, I still have the video in my room.

"Oh my gosh yes!" Karen exclaimed

We all just laughed. We've been laughing the whole day actually. 

Today is Friday by the way, so today is when I'll tell them that I'll be going to "Hawaii" for a "photo shoot".

We were in the beach eating pizza and simply having fun. We all decided to ditch school and hang here. I'm really gonna miss these guys.

When we stopped laughing, I sighed. 

"What's wrong Claire? Don't tell me you miss Matt?" Robin said

I gagged, I swear I almost vomited, "Fuck no! That's disgusting!"

Jake asked, "Then what's wrong?"

Am I that obvious?

I shrugged, "I'm leaving tomorrow guys. For 3 months."

"What?!" Karen exclaimed.

Robin asked, "Where would you go?!" 

I sighed, "I'm going to Hawaii for 3 months for a ph-photo shoot..." 

Karen gasped,"Wow, lucky you!"

I chuckled uneasily, "Yeah, lucky me..."

Maricon sighed, "Then let's make out of this last day we would be together. Well not literally you know I meant like before you leave for... you know 3 months?"

I smiled and nodded, "I get it Maricon."

Jake out of no where exclaimed, "Last one in the sea looks like a pig!" 

We all laughed and ran to the sea. Funny did you know Jake was the last one to the sea which made us all laugh so hard.

I shouted, "YOU'RE SUCH A PIG JAKE!!!

Robin mocked him,"Oink! Oink!" 

We all laughed, and he pouted. "Hey! In my defense, I saw a hot girl so I was technically distracted..."

"But still the last!" Jane and I shouted. We all laughed. 

Jake suddenly smirked then started splashing us with water making Jane and I squeal.

"Jake stop!" I squealed. 

I jumped on Robin's back and Jane on Jake's, and the others joined too. 

"CHICKEN FIGHT!!" Jake shouted, like literally. It was really loud. 

I laughed and started 'fighting' with Jane.

We all laughed and the day ended off with like that.

It was around 6 pm and we were still in the beach, on the sand, admiring the sea. My phone rang and I checked it, it's my mom.
