But for now we might have some angst coming right up, like can you guess what it could be? I bet you can't.

Disappointment swirled inside Manik as Nandini didn't contact him for the next whole day. He didn't expect her to call him or chat, but atleast a text? And as if it was not enough, she didn't even see the texts he left in concern.

It was raining cats and dogs outside. Manik stared at his phone in sadness, before looking out of the window. Even the sky was showing it's disappointment through such a wild shower.

She must have been busy. He had consoled himself with this thought or maybe she was just ignoring him. Manik didn't want to believe the later thought.

His question was half answered and heart filled with relief when his phone rang and Nandini's name flashed on the screen. Manik had never picked up a call with this hurry.

"M-Manik -" teeth clattered and Manik heard Ruhi mumbling something from behind. Manik guessed already the call was anything but a happy one,"Can - Can you pick me and Ruhi?"

Manik had no idea why she was asking when all she had to do was give him an order. He wouldn't have deny under any circumstances. He nodded to none, and picked up his car keys before dashing out of his cabin in a flash.

He kept the call on, assuring her he was coming to her.

Turned out, Nandini and Ruhi came to the park nearby his office

Turned out, Nandini and Ruhi came to the park nearby his office. The weather betrayed them as it started raining out of nowhere and on top of that, Nandini had no driver. Manik believed she didn't want to risk driving with Ruhi in such harsh weather.

She sounded scared on the phone call. He hang up the call as he parked his car near hers.

Nandini was shivering inside the car, at the backseat. She had an almost sleepy Ruhi clutched tight near her chest - as if scared someone was going to take her away.
