Recap: Shaheer proposed Jannat. Jannat was confused and asked Javeria for help. Javeria told her to go for it!

Chapter 9. Decision and aftereffects

He blinked his eyes a couple of times, standing opposite to me. "What? what did you just say?!" He said with amazement and disbelief dripping his words.

I rolled my eyes and answered, "I said, I am ready to marry you!"

"Oh Jàn! Please please please, say it again!"

Haha oh God!

"Shaheer Khan Niazii! I will marry you!" I repeated. He shook in head and demanded, "say this in these words, Shehry, I will willingly marry you!"

I smiled at his childish behaviour, and obeyed, " Shehry, I will willingly marry you!"

His lips curved upwards and he stared at my face. No! He stared to my soul and heart. His intense gaze melting every ounce of my body. His shining eyes, mirrored his swallowed heart. Eyes, in which were depicting sincerity and truth, at its utmost peak.

I blinked to break his intense gaze. He hung his head low with a wide grin on his face, for a second. When he lifted up, he said, "Thank you Jannat! For making me the happiest person alive. I promise, you'll never regret your decision."

A smile crept on my lips, and I looked down to hide my shimmering eyes. He chuckled slightly and started shaking his head in disbelief, "I can't believe it, seriously! We will get married, Ján." An amazing laugh escaped his mouth. He looked down at me, and said with a serious yet smiling face, "Thank you!"

He moved closer filling the space between us, increasing my heartbeat aerodynamically, and saying, "I love you!"

I tried to keep my expressions neutral as my heart did a little somersault. The temperature on my cheeks increased. I bit my lower inner lip to suppress the smile, though, I failed.

After he confessed, a smile never left my face. I kept on smiling like idiots, with constant redness on my cheeks.

Soon, we settled in the car, with romantic songs covering the atmosphere. His gaze shifts to my side every now and then, making me smile even more!

"Yeah, Mr. Mudassir Zia wants to meet us. Schedule a meeting oncoming Wednesday." I directed to Baba janii's PA over the phone, whilst walking to my office.

"Yes ma'm! As you say." I heard over mobile and after humming in response, I hung up.

I sat on my office chair, trying to concentrate on office work. But soon, was disturbed by a call from reception. I picked up and came to know about Alyaan's arrival. What is he doing here?

After a couple of minutes, he entered an office wearing a grim expression. He came near to the table and sat on the chair placing opposite to me.

"Tum batyn kab sy chupany lagi? [Such when you started hiding things?!]" These words escaped his mouth, leaving me all stunned.

"I heard, Shehry proposed you, and you accepted. You didn't ask, you didn't tell!" After a gap of a second, he asked, "Leaving Shanii, you are marrying him?"

The mention of Shayaan's name startled me. I narrowed my eyes, demanding an explanation.

He sighed loudly before replying, " Shayan loves you."

My eyes widened, at his sudden outburst.

Composing myself, I replied with confidence, "Why are you telling me. It's of no use now. I have accepted Shaheer's proposal."
