Bad Moon Rising (FOB Fanfic)

Eighteen

-Ray's POV-

I tackled Shayna to the ground and knocked her unconscious. Then I stood up brushed the dust off of my jeans and whirled around on my heels, when I heard a body drop to the floor. I saw Pete holding a needle and Joe unconscious at his feet.

"NO! PETE WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU DO THAT?!" I screamed and I knelt beside Joe's unconscious body.

I heard Pete mumbling something, and then I heard the needle drop to the floor next to me.

"I had to be done." I heard Pete say in a mono tone.

Getting to my feet, I turned around, grabbed Pete the collar of his shirt, smashing him up against the wall.

"None of this had to be done, Peter. She's using you to get what she wants and then she will dump you." I said through my teeth.

Pete stared into my eyes and I saw something change, it was like his trance was broken. I watched as he blinked rapidly and then he started looking around frantically, as if he just woke up from a nightmare.

"Where the fuck am I?" Pete asked, his voice was laced with fear and confusion.

"We are being held hostage by a psychotic bitch and we need to get out of here." I said as I released his shirt from my grasp.

"W-where is Patrick?" Pete asked.

I shrugged my shoulders and turned back to Joe, "Pete, I want you to go with Coby downstairs to our van and I will be right behind you." Out of the corner of my eye I saw Pete bend down and take Joe, throwing him over his shoulder and I watched him run down the hallway with Coby on his heels.

I turned and looked at Shayna who was unconscious on the floor, I sighed and pulled her to a sitting position with her back leaning against the wall.

"What the hell did you do to my sister?!" I whirled around on my heels, baring my teeth at the person behind me. Then I say that it was Andy and I retracted my teeth, straightening my stance.

"Your sister tried to kill me. But don't worry she will wake up soon." Then I gestured to his ripped clothes, "What happened to you?"

Andy shook his head and said, "Patrick got to me but then something happened, and he took off."

"Look just grab your sister and let's get out of this hell hole." I pointed over my shoulder and then over Andy's shoulder I saw Azrael crouch few feet behind him, ready to spring at him.

"ANDY LOOK OUT!" I shoved Andy aside, as Azrael sprung and the two of us collided. She and I rolled along the floor, until she swung her paw I felt pain shoot through my side as her paw collided with me, sending me into the wall.

"RAY!" I heard Andy exclaim.

"Just get Shayna out of here!" I yelled, as I pushed off the wall and lunged at Azrael.

I wrapped my arms around her ribs, and said, "I'm sorry but I have to do this." I squeezed and I heard bones snapping.

Her yelps and whimpers rang through my ears, and I dropped her to the floor. I watched as she changed back into a human. I saw her mouth opened, but no sound was coming out. I watched as she curled up into a ball, her mouth still opened as she let out silent screams.

Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Andy walk by me and he knelt beside Azrael. He placed his hands on each side of her head, on her temples, and he closed his eyes. I watched his mouth move as he whispered something and I felt the elements swirl around us.

I saw Azrael's body relax as the elements healed her, and her eyes fluttered closed. Andy got up and gave me a small smile.

"She will be okay, now let's get these two out of here." Andy said, as he walked back to Shayna. He took her bridal style into his arms and walked down the hallway.

I walked towards Azrael, took her in my arms and carried her, bridal style, down the hallway. I followed Andy down the steps and out the door.

I saw Pete and the others outside, but still no sign of Patrick. I placed Azrael don on the grass, and looked over my shoulder at the building.

*Patrick, we will save you if it mean we have to die trying." I silently said.

Hey youngbloods, well I thought of this little chapter. I'm so sorry I haven't posted anything in a while and please ignore the last author's note. I promise to update whenever I have an idea. This book will probably have a few more chapters leading up to the last chapter. Also if you guys have any ideas at all to this book, please send me a PM.
