Special Capter

A/N: Since I have 1K Reads already, I want to make a Special Capter!
It is somewhere between the Oralie Part and Keefe's Legacy (If you know what I mean;))

Sophie's Pov

This is my last hope.
I thought Keefe didn't want that I invaded his mind, but I tried everything else.

Keefe is my best friend and I would not let any possible chance elapsing, if there was a chance to bring him back.

So i set my alarm for 4 am, got ready and light leaped to the shores of solace with Sandor. Elwin and the members of the Black Swan will come at 6 am.
I have two hours alone with him.

Sandor was waiting silently in the corner, whispering something to Ro.
I went to Keefe's bed and sat down on the edge of the bed.

I took his hand in mine and whispered "I am sorry Keefe. I have tried everything else and I hope you are able to forgive me. Please, be there. I will find you. Sorry again"

I pulled my hands out of his and laid them on his temples. Then I closed my eyes and entered his mind.

Immediately I felt the sharpness, spikes and coldness. I forced myself to stop and take a deep breath. I quickly built a barrier around myself and the pain disappeared slowly. Now I had time to look around. All around me were golden memories. It was a good sign that the gold rim was still present.

I took a deep breath and forced myself to feel. There it was, the thin thread, the only tiniest trace of warmth. I followed her deep into his mind.

Soon I found a mini version of himself under the panaces tree. He was drawing in one of his notebooks.

My trembling legs carried me to him. A light breeze gently blew around my red dress as I approached him.

"Hey Foster" he said and looked up. His ice blue eyes bored into my brown eyes.
Tears walled up in my eyes and I hugged him as thight as I could.

"Woah Foster my dear, I need air!" Keefe laughed. I blushed and asked "Your dear?" At this point I was laughing too. I let go of him and looked up and down at him. He shook his head, a smirk on his lips "As I enjoy the Misterious Miss F. checking me out-" He took a deep breath and asked "What are you doing here?" Suddenly he turned serious.

Now it was my turn to take a deep breath. "I am sorry, I invaded your mind, but... You weren't waking up and I tried everything! Really! Nothing worked.
Keefe, I miss you. We all miss you."
Keefe looked down "No, not Daddy dearest."
I grabbed his chin so he had to look at me.
"Keefe, your dad cried." I said softly, looking in his eyes.
A single tear runned down his cheek and I brushed it away.

"Keefe, please, come back with me"
He wanted to look back down but I forced him to look back in my eyes. "Please" I begged.
"I- I can't. I just- make everything worse. I left you, I made you cry so often, I lost count. I nearly destroyed my friendship with Fitz. I betrayed you guys. I was a tracker. I put you all in danger many times. I am the reason you nearly died, Sophie."

I opened my mouth to protest- "No don't even try to contradict me. You nearly died this time on Silveny, because of me, you nearly died on the mount everest, because of me, you nearly died this time I betrayed you and I can't think how you could ever forgive me, you nearly died in Lumenaria because of me, you nearly died this time my mom blackmailed Tam, because of me, Tam nearly died because of me. Everyone nearly died, Sophie.
Don't you see it? It is better, if I am not here, Sophie. It is better for everyone. I- I am a mistake. Just- don't hate me Sophie. That's all I want."

I felt tears running down my face. I was crashing down in the inside. So I sat there in the grass, burried my face in my hands and cried. And cried. I lost time how long I simply sat there and cried. I felt Keefe sat down next to me and he put his arm around my shoulders.
"Oh, Keefe" I sobbed. "I am a terrible person. I shouldn't be the one crying and you shouldn't be the one supporting me" I sobbed again "Everything is my fault. Not yours Keefe. You are always there for me and you ever are supporting me and what am I doing? I am crying!" I sobbed again.
