you and your reflection,
judge your portrayed image
and start repeating the defects you observe,
as a reminder
of why you are not perfect.
You start from nose to your thighs
<<they look like two hot-air
balloons!>>
you scream in the mirror.
You crumple to the floor
you cry and despair.
You want to disappear,
have an xs for size
become so thin
never to be seen again by anyone.
And I see you there
small and defenceless
and I say to you: it is not your size that proves who you are,
but your goodness when you help others,
your childlike side when you play with a child,
your determination to defend the weakest,
your kindness to help the elderly,
and your laughter that infects people
spreading your joy in people's lives.

tu e il tuo riflesso,
giudichi la tua immagine ritratta
e inizi a ripetere i difetti che osservi,
come un promemoria
del perché non sei perfetta.
Inizi dal naso per arrivare alle cosce
<<sembrano due mongolfiere!>>
urli allo specchio.
Ti accasci per terra,
piangi e ti disperi.
Vorresti scomparire,
avere una xs come taglia
e diventare così magra
da non essere più vista da nessuno.
Io ti vedo lì
piccola e indifesa
e ti dico: non è la tua taglia a dimostrare chi sei,
ma la tua bontà quando aiuti gli altri
il tuo lato infantile quando giochi con un bambino
la tua determinazione per difendere i più deboli
la tua gentilezza per soccorrere i più anziani
e la tua risata che contagia la gente
spargendo la tua gioia
nella vita delle
persone.

This poetry is very close to my heart as I have never had a good relationship with my body, but this poetry wants to convey to you that it is not your body that is important but what you have inside you, your character. so all of you ARE BEAUTIFUL not because you have a model body but because you have a big heart<33. If you want to talk about this subject I am here to listen to you<33.

la raccolta è arrivata a 200 visual e io sto piangendo per tutto questo. ormai non so più come ringraziarvi per tutto il supporto e tantissimo amore per voi<33. questa poesia mi sta molto a cuore essendo che non ho mai avuto un bel rapporto con il mio corpo, però questa poesia vuole trasmettervi che non è importante il vostro fisico ma quello che avete dentro, il vostro carattere. quindi tutti voi SIETE BELLISSIMI non perché avete un fisico da modella ma perché avete un cuore grande<33.
