Horses

"C'mon boy we should be getting home." Hiccup said wiping away a few tears.

It was getting dark and soon they wouldn't be able to see. Hiccup made his way to Toothless making sure to look back a few times. Toothless growled uneasily, as if knowing that something was wrong. Hiccup shook it off and mounted the dragon making sure to look back once more.

"Toothle-"

A horse galloping in the distance. It sounded closer by the second.

"Toothless hide!" Hiccup layed low on the beast that ran to a nearby bush.

Galloping. A horse snorted as it came to a halt. It walked into the cemetery and stopped in front of a tombstone.

Hiccup looked up and a sob escaped his lips. At this point he couldn't take it any longer. He broke down into tears as his dragon didn't quite know what to do but nudge him.

"Why you?" Hiccup sobbed. "Why you!?!?"

The horse seemed distressed and walked around in a nervous fit. It fled at the sound of wailing.

Toothless cowered into a ball and looked up at his friend who cried more than ever now as he walked out of the bush and to the grave.

"Rest in peace...I love you." Hiccup said kissing his fingers and placing them gently on the stone, as if scared of breaking or damaging the thick stone. He walked back to Toothless with a huge knot in his throat.

"Let's go boy."
Hiccup said rubbing his eyes and mounting the beast. They were soon a speck in the sky as they tried to get away from the sadness and grief.

"I love ye too ye walking fish-bone."

I'm sooo sorry i have abandoned wattpad for so long! I will try and update, but it's not for sure. I couldn't write anything because i had a severe case of writers block that could've been the death of me. I can't find any words in the English language that even begin to describe how deeply sorry I am. For those of you who kept rereading my stuff in hopes something new would come out...I will try for you! And I love you random citizen!
