A Match made in Hell (Remor x Morgo) [Book 3]

Morgo faces a huge problem with his crows

At Obscura:-

Remor was just taking a stroll in the nearby forest, with some Kamalas accompaning him from the far away shadows of the dark forest.

Suddenly, he saw someone walk past the trees in front of him, but couldn't really see who it was.

"Wait, I think I saw someone there."
"Maybe, I should go and see who it was."
Remor thought as he went towards the path around those areas, where he thought he saw someone.

Suddenly, after going a bit further, he was surprised. It looked like Laven. But he still decided, to call out and ask who he was actually.

"Hey you."
"Stop there, who are you?"
Remor said in a loud tone, immediately catching the attention of the other creature.

The creature turned around and was surprised. It was infact Laven.
He said, "Mother, is that you?"
"I was looking for you for a long time, when I arrived at Obscura here."

Remor smiled and immediately hugged Laven, and said,
"Yes son, it's me."
"I missed you a lot."
"What made you come here at Obscura after such a long time?"

"Actually, I wanted to ask you about whether you think I am worthy to become the Prince of Obscura or not."
"Because, it's been a few years, since you became King and I thought, maybe I should talk to you about it."
Laven said nervously.

"I see. Well then, come with me to my home."
"My mother would want to see you, and she will give a number of small tests to see if you can pass all of them."

"If you managed to do that, and answer a few of her questions, I am sure she would allow you to become the Prince of Obscura."
Remor said while holding Laven's hand and taking him to his home.

"Alright mother. I just hope I can do it."
"You do have faith in me right?"
"I mean, if I became the Prince, you would see me as a worthy one right?"
Laven asked to Remor, while walking with him.

"Of course, I do."
"Don't worry, I am sure you will pass her tests. Just believe in yourself alright. "
Remor said while smiling.

At Mother Mabuka's Den:-

"So, this is your son, Laven, right?"
Mother Mabuka asked Remor while looking at Laven.

"Yes Mother, this is Laven."
"My first child of me and Morgo."
"And I want him, to take his place as my heir to the throne, and become the Prince of Obscura."
"I believe he has the capabilities to be one."
Remor said in a polite tone, while talking to his mother.

Laven standed in a confident posture, but on the inside, he sure is a bit nervous.

"Hmm, we shall see about that."
"Remor, I want you to leave both of us for 2 hrs."
"I will ask him some questions and give him some tests, and see if he can pass through it."
"If he does, I will make him the Prince of this reality. "
Mother Mabuka said to Remor.

"Yes Mother, I understand. I will take my leave now."
Remor said after leaving both Mother Mabuka and Laven alone.

Laven was literally saying in his mind, "I hope I can do this" over and over again in nervousness.

At Remor's room:-

"Maybe I should visit Morgo now, and see what's he doing at his Mansion?"
Remor thought as he quickly put on his special necklace.

He summoned the portal to the Beyond, and went through it.

At the Beyond:-

Morgo was sitting on his throne, and thinking about some important matters regarding whether he should increase the difficulty of the training of his crows or not.
