Miracle Katherine’s Point of View
The whole morning class went well and here we are in the cafeteria. There’s still one last subject left before we can go home. But, by this day, we won’t be going home early as me, my brother, and Apple will be going out for a bonding. I can’t even wait for it!
The first subject that we had went well kahit na medyo hindi mapakali si Kane. It’s him, ‘yung nakita ‘ko nung gabi ng party celebration dito sa school and that guy who gave me a rose a while ago. I don’t even know up until now why did he gave me a flower.
“Miracle, ang cute ni Sean ‘no?” Tanong ni Samantha na kasama namin dito sa table namin ngayon
I don’t know kung bakit sya nandito at hindi sa mga kaibigan nya. She isn’t always with us lalo na ‘pag break time or lunch since kasama nya ang mga kaibigan nya. I just don’t know what strand and sections are they in.
“What do you mean that he’s cute? He isn’t a little one to be cute” Nakakunot-noong sagot ‘ko sa kanya kaya naman napatawa sina Apple at Kuya Arnold
What’s funny with it if I just told them what is my opinion? Kane isn’t cute. First, because he isn’t a baby. Secondly, beacuse he’s not a tiny or little something. Thirdly, he isn’t an animal to be called cute. Sila lang naman ang mga cute hindi ba?
People just says that a person is cute because the person sees someone to be an animal. Maybe that’s why they’re saying cute with someone, right?
“Sino ba ‘yang Sean? Baka mamaya nandito ‘yan tapos kung ano-ano pa ang masabi ng prinsesa ‘ko” Ginulo pa ni Kuya ang buhok ‘ko pero hinayaan ‘ko lang sya at kumain nalang ng sandwich ‘ko
“Si Kane Sean Hernandez, the oh so famous guitarist of our school band EverAfter!” Kulang nalang ay magkaroon ng sparks ang mga mata ni Apple habang sinasabi ‘yon
“Oh, si Sean?” Tanong ni Kuya Arnold na tila ba kilala ang pinag-uusapan namin
Well, I think he really is dahil sikat daw sina Kane dito. They’re famous and people admires their group. If I remember ay girlfriend ni Samantha ang isa sa mga miyembro ng banda nila na EverAfter. I just can’t remember his name.
“Sya nga” Samantha replied and take a bite on her sandwich
Nilingon naman ako ni Kuya so I tilted my head slightly, confused of why. He creased his forehead a moment then smiled at me.
“You know him?” He asked me
I shrugged off my shoulders and shake my head as an answer.
“No. We met once and interact but it doesn’t mean na kilala ‘ko na sya” I answered and take a bite of my sandwich
Hindi ‘ko naman talaga kilala si Kane to tell that I know him. Yes we met each other, got a small conversation, and even heard his name around the school pero we still don’t know each other. For my opinion, masasabi mo lang na magkakilala kayo ng tao kung kilala nyo talaga ang isa’t isa. ‘Yung tipong malapit kayo at palagiang nagkakausap.
“Edi kilala mo nga sya, Miracle?” Apple asked me and waited for my answer
“No, hindi naman kami magkakilala” Sagot ‘ko at kinuha ang cellphone ‘ko sa bag ‘ko since tapos naman na akong kumain
It’s lunch time already pero mamaya nalang kami kakain sa labas tutal gagala naman kami nina Kuya Arnold at Apple. I just ate a sandwich and a piece of chocolate cake. Well, I’m a chocolate lover ever since I was a kid. Kaso pinagbabawalan ako nina Mommy at Daddy since nakakataba daw ang chocolate.
