Silence spread through the darkness. I hate confrontations but this had to be done. I won't let them trample over my tiger any longer. My love has suffered enough. Their stunned expressions were priceless, but I can't let them recover from the shock, or this could get ugly.

"I have enough of your slandaring Winston in his absence. You would't dare to even look in his direction while he is here, but get all cocky and spread nonsense when he is away. Just so you know Winston is a great male. He cared and protected me without expecting anything in return. He works hard for your safety while you sit there and torment everyone around. I hope our path never cross in the city. You disgust me."

With my final words I stood up and left them with their mouths hanging open. Well that's good. They did't fight back. Well I didn't give them a chance for that. I hope they are ashamed of themself. But I doubt that.

They were raised in this. They were needlessly spoiled and think that this is ok. Their behaviour won't change just because I told them off. Maybe they will be just more subtle about it. But really the way they rise females in here needs to be changed. And I will start with my kids.

He was watching the small female from the moment Winston brought her over. He despised females because of the way they took everything for granted. Even their lives. 

They see them as insignificant disposable objects that were born to serve them and expected them to do their every bidding. That is why he never tried to find a female for himself. He is a proud part of the city guards and oversees that any rule shall be complied.

As a three striped eagle beastman he was respected and many males looked up to him. He might not be four striped beast yet, but he is not far from reaching them.

He despised females and yet followed the small female every move. He heard how she introduced herself with that soft voice of hers. Liana. Her name in his mind sounded right. He wished to to say it aloud to taste her name on his tongue but with so many perked ears around he gave up the idea for now. He were curious how his name would sound from her smooth lips. The thought send a delightful shiver through his body.

He followed her close but stealthily to see if she will be the same as the others. And after hearing the confrontation to his delight she wasn't. But it irked him greatly that it seemed that she liked the tiger. Not to mention that damn wolf that did't waste any time and started his courtship. Well he will assess the situation and then decide how he will deal with the other suitors.For now it is time to approach and speak with her.

I walked to the farthest corner so I don't have to smell or see those females and eat my fruit in peace. It wasn't as lit and the trees casted a creepy shadows but thanks to the beastman's near by I did't have to be afraid of stray animals.

I sat leaning against the tree. Well it's great that it's secluded but it might be problem in a while. It's starting to get pretty cold without fire nearby. I guess I will have to endure a little cold before Winston returns. Then I can just cuddle my big cat. Will he purr? Damn that would be cute. I can't wait to find out. But what if he will get shy and run away? Well I hope he won't otherwise I will have to find wolfy boy. I refuse to sleep near that fire.
