Hey there, I updated characters with the picture of the Ape king.

As we headed back to the city, I was still in Winston's arms. He refused to carry me in his beast form, which would be quicker. Looks like my poor kitty need the reassurance that I'm still here and ok. I squeezed him tighter, but with all those muscles I don't think he felt that.

"Was that commotion from before because of the scorpions attack?"

I was pretty sure it was, when even Mitchell was present, but I got bored from the silence.

"Yes. Fortunately we already reported the one from our travels so we managed to reinforce the guards on the walls in time. They didn't reach the city."

Well that's good.

"Yyou mentioned a scorpion before, but there weren't any sign of fight."

You are quite observant one Muir, aren't you. Should I say that it was the scorpion king? Pff I always recall the horrible animated one from the Mummy. That just destroyed the whole impression on the movie I like. Anyway I guess I can just mention his stripes so they can be ready if he really shows up again.

"They did't fight. The scorpion was a 4 striped, but he left after I made a deal with him."

They all stopped at the same time and I could hear three sharp inhales of breath. It was Winston's turn for squeezing me tighter. Ok what the hell?

"Lia, what kind of deal?"

I could hear a fear in Winston's voice. Oh did they think that I offered him to be my mate? Really?

"I told him about a mountain with soul crystals. Nothing more. I can tell you the details at home."

I carased Winston's head to calm him down.I would do the same to the other two, but when it looked like they want to approach us Winston started to move again. How cute. I put my chin on his shoulder and looked at the two which were staring holes into Winston's back. I had to chuckle at their antics.

"Did you find a house for us? Can we move now?"

I was eager to be out of the tiger castle. Not just because the room is small and dark without any window, but it's too poopulated for my liking. I like my privacy and quiet space.

"Yes. We can move right away. Muir can grab our things and fly over with them. It would be faster that way."

I looked at Muir if he agrees with this suggestion and he nodded his head.

"That's great! I'm glad we will live in our own house."

I smiled at them while bouncing in Winston's arms. They all smiled back at me with tenderness in their eyes. We reached the gates in no time and we went past some guards that stood with the ape king. They were about to head out when they noticed us.
