Part 30: ROOMMATE

-1 year later-

Mark & Kat were officially over. A representative from JYP and a representative from YG both confirmed that the young couple were no more. It was a huge shock to the fans, many were sad and others were glad. But either way, both idols focused on their careers, and each time they were asked about WHY they broke up. They would disregard it.

Kat grew distant from everyone.

She doesn't show that she's depressed ON broadcast or to her fans.

Her fans are her only friends, well to her.

But Kat also grew cold and heartless.

She doesn't feel nor believe in love, it's only been a year but she's been so busy with her career and coping with her broken heart. Those two things do not go so well together, however she does go to therapy.

Unfortunately, the night Mark broke up with her, Kat did attempt suicide. Which luckily did not breakout into the news. Mark doesn't even know. But thankfully Kat's good old friend, Johnny, was there just in time to stop her.

Who knows what's bound to happen next.

-Kat POV-

"Sometimes I wonder what have I become?"

"Kat don't think such negative thoughts. You achieved so much throughout the year. You won best rookie solo artist of the year.? That's a major achievement."

I sighed. "I know Johnny but.. ever since Mark-"

"Hey. What did your therapist say? Don't think about him. Why be sad over someone who chose NOT to be with you anymore? It's their loss. Besides, both of you are famous people and well.. you now not many idols last long in relationships. So quit whining. You ain't the only one with a broken heart."

He's right, he's also gone through a bad break up with Kiko.

-ding dong-

I put down my sandwich and head to the door. Before opening I peeped through the whole. Oh? It's Jackson...

I opened the door. "Jackson..?"

"Hi Kat. I have some very important news to tell you so.. may I come in?"

No 'nice to see you' or not even a 'how you been' the hell does he want?

I bit my lip. "Uhm.. is it urgent?"

"It's very brief."

This is the first time we've spoken since.... that night.

Awkward.

I nodded. "K.."

He walked inside.

Wonder what this is about?

Jackson: Hi Johnny.

Johnny: Hey man..

We took a seat on the couch. Jackson handed me some papers.

"What's this?" I asked.

"Just read." He said.

Johnny: Uh... I could leave if you want-

Jackson: That won't be necessary I'll be out shortly. Go on Kat, read.
