I woke up to my loud alarm ringing. I quickly reach over to my phone to turn it awf. That shi was load asf. After I turned it off I realized that my wig fell of while I was sleeping. Which was not it!!!

Then all off a sudden as I was stretching to wake up my bf Xavier started calling me for no REASON. I ignored his call cuz if I answered it imma be late to school.

Anyways todays my first day of Sophomore year. PERIOD. And I was determined to look good asf.

I stood up and walked over to my makeup table. I already took shower last night so I ain't even need one today. I recently bought this synthetic black wig for 400 dollars so it better be worth it.

After I finished doing my hair and makeup I got dressed.

I went downstairs to get breakfast cuz yk I need some food in my stomach. "DESI HURRY UR ASS UP, YOURE ALREADY 10 MINUTES LATE." My ma shouted.

I took some left over pancakes from the fridge and stuffed it in my mouth. "IM COMING MOM HOLD ON." I screamed rushing to get my bag.

People are being mad annoying today cuz tell me why eveyone and they mama calling me and telling me to walk classes with them.

Anwyas I answered my bestie Camila call. To be honest ion really like her like dat but I've known her for 10 years so.

Camila: HEY BESTIE WHERE YOU ATT??
Me: Girl I'm at home I slept late. I WAS STRESSING.
Camila: we'll hurry your ass up cuz I'm waiting for you at the front door.
Me: MK HOLD ON🙄

I ran in my moms car and sat down. She look me up and down and rolled her eyes. "Shoulve atleast gotten braids." I roll my eyes. "Girl my hair cute don't even."

"Mhm anwyas have a good first day and don't start anything." I climbed out of her car and waved goodbye. I say Camila and ran up to her and hugged her. "HEYY GIRL."

She hug me back. "Bestie I've missed you all summer. Where you been?" I was inside all summer BORED af. "Oh nun, just watching TikTok and sleeping." I looked around for the rest of the group.

"Where the rest of the group at?" I ask. I was lowkey missing my bae. Just as I said that Xavier walked over and kissed my cheek. "Wsg shawty." I smiled at him and kissed him back. "Hey baby."

He folded his arms. "Dammm why you ain't answer my call this morning?" Oop my bad. "I was busyyy." I lied as I hugged him. Camila rolled her eyes and pouted. "Damm you ain't even say hi to me." She said to Xavier. "My bad how you been?"

"I'm better now bestie." She said giggling and I smiled. "What do you think of my fit tho?" She asked giving us a 360. "GYATT." Xavier shouted and I smacked his head. Camila laughed and me and Xavier laughed too.

"You might have to show Desi your routine." He joked and I frowned. He was not being serious.

Camila smiled and hugged him giggling. "Maybe.." she said.

"Y'all where the other people at." I asked. "Ion know lemme check the gc and ask them." Camila answered as she took out her phone.

"Damm I'm hungry you got any food bae?" Xavier cooed in my ear as he placed his arms around me. I looked in my bag and got out some chips. "Here ya go baby." He took it and kissed my cheek. "Thank you bae."

"Y'all they said they finna be here soon." Camila suddenly said. "Oo Xavier bestie lemme get some." She said looking at the chips I gives him. "Nah this mine" he said and started running away as Camila chased him. I laughed as they ran around me.

From the distance I saw Diego, Anthony and Raven walked up to us. We all hugged.

"Damm I've missed y'all lame asses." Anthony said as he dabbed us all up. "Y'all checked y'all schedule?" Raven asked.

I took out my schedule and we all checked each others. I only had classes with Diego, Xavier and Camila. But we all had lunch together so that was good.

The bell rang and we all headed to our classes. I had home room and 1st hr with Diego so somebody ik. We both headed to class together and sat next to each other.

"So how's your summer been?" He asked as he lashed his head on his desk. I shrugged. "Boring asf, u?"

He shrugged. "Man it was Alr, I just went skating at the park and doing some outside activities. When back to Columbia to visit family." He said. "Cool cool."

It got awkward fast, me and Diego aren't really that close. He's mostly friends with Camila and Anthony
So we really don't be talking like that.

"How's you and Xavier?" He asked raising his brows at me. "We going 5 years strong, ain't nun gon break us." I said confidently. Xavier is my bae and I love that man to death. And he can say the same. That's on Periodtt.

Diego scoffed raising his brows. "Love that you're so confident." He said sarcastically. "Not too much now." I said shoving his shoulders and he chuckled and shrugged.

"Hey I'm just saying, just high school relationships don't end well." I rolled my eyes. "You just mad you single. Go hit up Raven or sum. Yk Damm well she likes you."

Diego just shrugged and placed in his AirPods. Not him ignoring me. I rolled my eyes and placed in my AirPods too. That's the only way I'm gon get trough this ghetto as school.
