Liyanin heard the hurt in Tsahik's voice as she told her people about her Spirit sister and her baby. Liyanin let the tears fall for the fallen tulkun and its baby. They had been killed by the Sky People. She wished she could have prevented it. She wished that the Sky People could leave the beauty of Pandora alone.

The Metkayina shouts battle cries, hungry for revenge for killing their Tsahik's Spirit sister and baby. Liyanin looked beside and saw how it affected Tsireya. Her eyes were brimming with tears with a soft facial expression in comperestion to her clan. Liyanin took Tsireyas hand in her little one and gave her a reassuring squeeze. Tsireya smiled at the gesture and held onto her hand, not ready to let go. Jake yelled at the na'vi trying to knock some sense into them.

"No, you don't. You gotta understand how the Sky People think" He attempted to reason with them.

"They don't care about the Great Balance" The clan screamed and said they didn't answer to the Sky People. "Listen. Listen to him" Neteyam said as he tried to help his father.

"The Sky People are not gonna stop. This is only the beginning. You gotta tell your tulkun to leave. You gotta tell them to go far away!"

Ronal inched forward. "Leave?" she said with disbelief laced in her tone. She scoffed at Jake. Liyanin just wished they would listen to her father because he knew more about the Sky People. She had learned that he was once one of them.
A Sky People himself, but he changed because of Pandora. Liyanin loved that her father gave everything up for a life on Pandora and that he would do anything to protect it.

"You live among us, and you learn nothing!"
Liyanin looked down, sad that they wouldn't listen, they had made up their minds. Jake was not giving up, he knew from experience himself.
"No, no, no, if you attack , if you fight, then they will destroy you! They will destroy everything that you love"

As Jake spoke the last words Ronal put her hand on her belly. The Metkayina was just scared for their family, their home, for their Tulkun and its people. Jake continued yelling at them to listen to him as Neteyam spoke up and told everyone to stay calm.
"Listen to my father"

Jake took the tracker from his son's hands and jumped up in the middle of the Metkayina holding the tracker up so everyone could see it. The Metkayina became quiet as they examined the device that belonged to the Sky People.
"You tell the Tulkun if they're hit by one of these, they're marked for death. And call for me, I'll silence it. Saving their lives, that's all that matters. Right? Saving your family"

Liyanin could hear how her father's voice broke. The Metkayina all look at their chief waiting for his answer. Tonowari glanced at Ronal before he stepped up beside Jake.
"Tell the Tulkun"

Ronal ordered her people to go and they listened, following the orders of their leaders. Liyanin, who had held onto Tsireya's hand the whole time, let it go as she saw her brother walking away. Liyanin wasn't the only one who noticed, her oldest brother saw it too

Neteyam strolls over to his brother as Lo'ak ready his ilu ready to leave. Liyanin quietly strolls up behind Neteyam and hides behind a pillar.
"No way you're rolling out of here, baby brother"

"I have to warn Payakan about the pingers" Lo'ak says. Neteyam shook his head and walked up to his brother.

"No. You've got to keep your skxawng ass here"

"No. He's outcast. There's no one to warn him but me"

"Bro" Neteyam said and put one of his hands on his little brother's head."why do you always have to make things so hard?" Lo'ak pushes his brother's arm away from him.
In Liyanin's eyes Lo'ak didn't look happy, she was afraid to come out from her hiding place.

"No. You mean why can't I be the perfect son like you?" Neteyam turns away ready to walk away. "The perfect little soldier."

"Well, I'm not you!" Lo'ak screams out at his brother. Neteyam walked back to his brother with an angry look on his face. Liyanin's ears folded back, she knew how much her brother looked out for his younger brother, how he looked after all of them, how their father expected of him. It was hard on Neteyam to try and live up to his father, not wanting to disappoint him. "I'm not you. He's my brother" Lo'ak said and pointed out at the sea, clearly meaning Payakan.

"I'm going" Lo'ak turned away and began walking away from his brother. Neteyam was hurt by the words. "Oh, he's your brother?" Neteyam grabs him and points at himself.

"No. I'm your brother" Liyanin could hear the hurt in Neteyam's voice. Liyanin heard Tsireya call out to Lo'ak and he shook his brother's arm away from him and told him to get off. "Lo'ak" Liyanin says as she runs out from behind the pillar, but Lo'ak dives down into the water. Neteyam and Tsireya call after him.

"Come on. He's going to Payakan" Neteyam says as he calls for his ilu and before he dives in after the siblings he turns around. "Liyanin, I need you to stay here"

"But.." Liyanin argued , but Neteyam cut her off. "Noo" He told her firmly. Neteyam dives into the water and jumps on his ilu riding away from Liyanin who was tired of hearing people tell her what she can't do.

She calls out to Ompin and as he came up from the water ready to help her, he was always nearby. "Ompin" Liyanin says as she jumps down on him and connects her queue for the first time. Her eyes widened when she felt the power off the little ilu. "Ready when you are" She heard his voice. "I'm ready"

For once Liyanin didn't listen, she wanted to help her siblings save the Tulkun who her brother was friends with.
