Backstory- this happens is in season 2 when betty breaks up with jughead via archie

when archie had to go to jugheads trailer and jughead also have to complete his initiation kind of thing to become a serpent

JUGHEADS pov

after completing the whole initiation thing to become a serpent finally when I came back to trailer I still couldn't stop thinking about betty we both were fine till yesterday what could have happened in one day that she had to break up with me and via archie

I know that when she gets to know that I m serpent now she might get mad at me but I know we both love each other and I know her better than anyone there has to be a reason why she did this I m not gonna let it go

then there was a knock

J- hey toni

T- so congratulations for finally becoming a serpent

J- thanks but how come you are so late here

T- to give you the serpent tattoo

after she finally did the whole tattoo

T- here you go jones

J- thanks toni

T- what is it

J- my girlfriend broke up with me

T- oh sorry about that

J- dont be I know that there is something else behind it

then she leaned in for a kiss but I pulled away

J- I m sorry toni

T- its ok jones its my fault but jughead if you really think that there is some reason behind the break up then talk to her ask her talk to her

maybe she is right I know that betty wont do it without any reason so I decided to go to her house

A FEW MINUTES LATER

STILL JUGHEADS pov

I didn't knew whether alice was home or not so obviously I had to use her window I saw that some lights were open I could easily see it through her window so climbed onto the ladder

BETTYS pov

I was sitting on my bed still thinking about all the things that happened but mostly about jughead I know that I did this to protect him but I broke his heart too he always says that he only have me and serpents now but I left him I broke up with him

then I heard my window open and there is only one person in this whole world who likes to enter in this room like this jughead but when he came inside I saw his face with wounds on lips cheeks

oh my god why does he have so many wounds and cuts on his face

B- jughead what happened to your face did you got into a fight or did a ghoulie did this

I said while seeing all of the scars and touching them I couldn't control myself but to examine and check them

he didn't a word and was just looking at me

J- so you still care about me

oh no now I know why he is here I knew why he came I just never wanted to think about the reason

B- of course jug

I said and turned around

J- then tell me why did you break up with me why did you left me when I needed you the most
