after pollys death everyone was feeling bad for betty and alice but there was one particular person who felt really sad for betty and that was jughead because he already knew how much she have lost since high school first her father being the blackhood and then trying to kill her and then shot dead in front of her eyes and now after 7 years when she came back and seeing that her sister was dead he was shocked that how could she still handle so much pain without even saying a word

while all of us were sitting there for betty and everyone was asking about her mom and twins I knew that she was trying to hold back her tears and was trying not to show but I know her better than anyone and I somehow knew that she wasn't ok and wanted to break down

A FEW DAYS LATER

JUGHEADS pov

today is my day off at work which means today I dont any shifts at pops so I thought why not have a drink at whyte wirm

and when I went there and sat on the bar stool I saw betty there

J- hey betty

B- oh hey jug its you

J- woah betty are you drunk

B- what no I m just drowning my sorrows about my dead sister

J- betts how much had you drink

B- I dont know I lost count after 6 or 7 drinks I mean its not something new its the only way I can forget everything like everything

J- what betty its not good its not healthy for you

B- oh come on jughead its not like anyone cares hell even not my mom cares

B- well now she even says that I m reason my sister is dead and it should have been me I mean obviously she is right I ruin everything

J- betty dont say that

B- oh come on jughead its true I ruined my family when I came back after 7 years and I ruined us our relationship back in high school just bcoz of my stupid kiss with archie

I knew she wouldn't want to go to her house so I took her into archies garage where I live and laid her down onto my bed

B- hey where are you going

J- to sleep

and then I took of her shoes and jacket and by the time I came back after changing I saw she was already asleep but was also shivering and as soon as lied next to her she just cuddled into me in her sleep
