POSEIDON’S GIFT
It was night now. Percy and everybody else had started to gather at the campfire. Chiron and Mr.D came last. The campfire was bright red showing the emotions of all the campers sitting over there. Then Chiron cleared his throat and every single soul present over there knew that it was time. Chiron said the whole story and it was time to bring the cat out of the box,” Mr.D and I have decided that the leader for this expedition is going to be Nico”. Nico was as surprised as every one else. Coming back from that shock Nico said “I am ready and I choose Grover and Percy as my partners”. “So shall be, now Nico go in the oracles cave and get the prophecy.
Nico entered the cave and started to search for the oracle. “It’s the daughter of death to be killed by the son, it’s the expedition in which a friend shall moan, don’t let her wake and open the gates, and the future of humanity is at stake”. Nico knew it was the prophecy. Leaving the cave and went to Chiron and told him about it. Chiron sighed “ok son get a good sleep you have an adventure tomorrow”. Since Percy was sleeping alone Nico slept in Poseidon’s cabin. Percy was wide awake and as soon as he saw Nico he asked him”congrats Nico your first expedition huh???”
”Yep I am too excite about it we have leave tomorrow morning and get my half sister before she wakes Giga” Nico said
The day was here Nico wore his camp half blood t-shirt and was ready. Percy was ready Grover was just going to come back after saying goodbye to his girlfriend (the tree nymph). “So how shall we go and find my sis” said Nico
“I suppose we should go by the ship, I could get the perfect directions of where we are, I can pray my father for it” Percy said. Everybody accepted it unanimously. Percy prayed to his father and his father gifted him with a massive ship named “Triremes
