Andi's POV

The next morning, my black eye was almost gone, so I decided not to wear my sunglasses.

I got to the kitchen, and I decided that I was going to tell Bowie and Bex about what was going on.

Thankfully, Bex and Bowie were both in the living room.

"Hey, can I talk to you guys?" - Me

"Sure, kiddo. Also, what happened to your eye?" - Bex

"That's what I wanted to talk about.
At school, these girls have been picking on me. They tell me Bowie’s not my real dad, my friends hate me, You wish you had another sister, and they leave mean notes in my locker. I haven't told you guys because I didn't want the girls to hurt me more. By the end of the day, I had a black eye from one of the girls. She punched me for hanging out with her boyfriend." - Me

"Andi, listen. I love you and will love you for as long as we both live. I would never ask for another sister." - Bex

"And Andi, even though I'm your step-dad, that doesn't make me any less of a father figure. Besides, it doesn't matter if I'm your real dad or not." - Bowie

"See Andi? You're awesome, and we would never replace you. I promise. Sister's code?" - Bex

"Sister's code." - Me

"Alright. You better hurry outside. Your friends are probably waiting on you." - Bex

I ran outside and I decided I was going to tell my friends about it too.

"Hey guys, I need to tell you something. At school, these girls have been picking on me. They tell me Bowie’s not my real dad, my friends hate me, Bex wishes she had another sister, and they leave mean notes in my locker. I haven't told you guys because I didn't want the girls to hurt me more. By the end of the day, I had a black eye from one of the girls. She punched me for hanging out with her boyfriend. That's why I was wearing those sunglasses." - Me

I handled the girls that were bullying me and I felt a lot better once I had told Bex and Bowie.
