𝑆𝐻𝐸 𝐷𝐸𝑆𝑃𝐼𝑆𝐸𝐷 how her sister's youger children giggled and spoke and breathed in the same carriage as her. However she would rather be stuck here looking like she actually tried to answer their stupid questions, than outside, having to listen to Joffrey's bullshit and freezing off.
Yes, telling Myrcella that she saw snow before was far more pleasant.

"Did you see that, aunt Jade?" Tommen beamed

"No, sweet boy, what was it?" She offered them the kindest smile she could fake while Cersei's watching her interact with her little loves like a hawk. Oh, spare her of it. The Queen was aware every hateful comment behind her little sister's smile. She always did.

Cersei knew her sister more tham anyone else in this damned world. If she had at least as a weakness her children, maybe also Jaime, Jadeyn cared not if the next day she'll get the news of her father's passing, perhaps or the children's injuries and fevers. Those were just the moments when she smiled, when she really smiled. A bitter, proud smirk lingering on her fair face.

The carriage stops, much for Tommen and Myrcella's excitement and the Lannister sisters' displeasure. Jadeyn watched with spite- but not for too long, not wanting anyone around here to notice- the backs of her nephew and niece, descending the carriage's stairs before her. She arranges her gloves, getting out the last.

Her gaze fixes her sister already before the Lord and Lady Stark and decides to join her sister also.

"My Lord, my Lady" she acknowledges them

"My Lady" Eddard and Catelyn greet her, almost in unison

"Take me to your crypt. I want to pay my respects" The King ordered in the same moment she walked back, making her place between Jaime and Joffrey

She looks down at her gloves once again, then hears Jaime already joking "Should've taken some wool gloves, little sister?" Her nephew also breathed a laugh

She ignored both of them.
"We've been riding for a month, my love. Surely the dead can wait" Cersei argues

"Ned" Her husband captures his friend's attention for the second time and began walking the other way to the crypt. Leaving Cersei at the pity of Lady Stark. Jadeyn wouldn't have approved such treatment if she was his wife. Yes, very good thing she wasn't. She would've devoured him alive.

"Where's the Imp?" The youngest Stark daughter asks the other

Cersei turns around "Where is our brother?" She looks at Jaime "Go and find the little beast" his sister commands and Jaime does nothing but obey his Queen

They were soon brought to their bedchambers and Jadeyn would have rolled in happiness for the new privacy offered, even though, Joffrey was just over the other side of the wall and she could hear him whining.

𝐴𝐿𝐿 𝑆𝐻𝐸 𝐾𝑁𝐸𝑊 is that she wanted home, or at least in the big, shadowy chamber the Starks gave her at this damn moment. Robert was whoring, Joffrey was eyeing the Stark girl, Cersei was...being Cersei and Lady Stark kept trying to make a conversation.

"Is this your first time in the North, Your Grace?" Catelyn attempts to move the Queen's gaze, which burned through the wench in her husband's arms.

"Yes. Lovely country" Cersei compliments

"I'm sure it's very grim, after King's Landing" She commented "I remember how scared I was when Ned brought me up here for the first time"

Catelyn's oldest daughter appears in front of them, grinning from ear to ear at the Queen and her Lady sister.

"Hello, little dove" Cersei smiles back at her, while Jadeyn still kept her dreadful expression "But you are a beauty" she continues to praise Sansa "How old are you?"

"13, Your Grace" the girl chirped

"You're, tall. Still growing"

"I think so, Your Grace"

"And have you bled yet?"

Cersei's question made the smile dissapear from the little dove's face, moving her gaze to her mother and back to the Queen "No, Your Grace" she admits.

"Your dress, did you make it?" Cersei changed the displeasuring subject

The girl smiled again, nodding "Such a talent you must make something for me" The Stark nods respectfully and leaves the Lannister sisters and her mother at peace

"I hear we might share grandchildren someday" She told Lady Stark

"I hear the same" Catelyn agrees

"You daughter will do well in the Capital" Cersei assured, but both, her and her sister knew the Capital will step on her and rip off her wings.
"Such beauty shouldn't stay here hidden up here forever"

"Arya! It's not funny!" The dove screeched a moment later and had her friend wipe the food her sister send flying on her face.

Lady Stark gave her oldest child, who was laughing at his sisters to get the younger out. "She always does it and it's not funny!" But it was funny. Jadeyn sketched one of her grim smirks for the first time tonight.

She looked down, at least having the decency to hide her amusement. When she finally stopped, she rose from the chair and bid Lady Stark and her sister good night, claiming she was tired and needed rest after such exhausting journey.

"Hound" Cersei called, demanding the man to take her sister back to her bedchamber.
