Just a fan-on hold

Chapter 3

I woke up to a knock on my door. I got up and saw Nate.
"Hey I know you're leaving today so I wanted to say goodbye. You better text me when you get home so I know you're safe."
"I will God I'm not looking forward to that drive. Wanna come in while pack?"
"Sure. "
I grabbed my clothes and all my stuff out of the bathroom, packing it in my bag.
"Alright that's it. Time to leave."
Nate stood up and grabbed my hand. We walked down to the lobby together.
"Well I guess this is goodbye. I hope I see you again."
"For sure. I'll have to take a trip to Arkansas to see you."
"I'd like that."
We hugged goodbye and off to my car I got. It was so nice out today.

The drive home was long and it sucked. I was so happy to be back in my room with my cat. I had work in an hour so that sucks, but a girls gotta make a living. I started getting ready for work. I was wearing lightwashed skinny jeans, a black vans tank and my all white vans. Perks of working at zumiez you can wear whatever. I straightened my hair and started my make up. My phone started ringing so I picked it up and saw that it was Nate.
"Hey there handsome."
"Hey, what are you doing?"
"Getting ready for work. I have to be there in 20 minutes."
"Oh well I'll let you go, text me?"
"Of course, bye Nate."
"Bye."
I finished up and grabbed my keys and headed out the door.

When I got to work sarah was behind the counter.
"Hey girl how was the concert?"
"Oh my god so much fun. Nate asked me to stay after the concert and I hung out with him and all the guys all night. It was awesome."
"Oooooh. So you and Nate?"
"I got his number actually and he kissed me on the cheek last night. It was so cute."
"That's awesome! Oh shit customer. "
"I got it.
Hi welcome to zumiez can I help you with anything?"
"I need a penny board. What do you guys have?"
"Those are right this way. Just follow me"
I showed him the penny boards and he bought one. That whole night work was pretty easy. With a few texts from Nate. I left at 10 and went home. I changed and went straight to bed. These past few days have been amazing!
