Just a fan-on hold

Chapter 5

Today's the day I pick up Nate from the airport. I'm so excited I can't contain myself. His flight lands in an hour so I'm getting ready. I was in the middle of doing my makeup when my phone rang, it was Ashley.
"Hey girl."
"Hey wanna come over?"
"I'm getting ready to pick Nate up from the airport, I'll bring him over though so you can meet him.
"Okay sounds good let me know when you're on your way.
"Okay I will. Bye."
"Bye."
I finished getting ready and grabbed my stuff, headed out the door. I got in my car and put on some paramore.
30 minutes later.
I parked and got out of my car Nates plane should be landing any minute now. I walked up to the waiting area and waited for him. A couple minutes later I saw him walking up. Oh my god this is so great. I ran up to him and jump in his arms.
"Hey there beautiful. "
"Oh my god I'm so happy you're here."
"Same."
"So how was your flight?"
"Good I'm just happy to be here."
"So am I. So we're going to my friend Ashley's house so you can meet her."
"Okay that sounds good."
We walked to get his bags and then walked out to the car. The whole ride to Ashley's we sang and goofed off. It's so great having him here. We pulled up to Ashley's and got out of the car.
"Pen!"
"Hey girl. This is Nate."
"Hi nice to meet you."
"Nice to meet you too."
We walked in her house and sat down. We stayed there for about an hour just talking and goofing off.
"Alright we gotta get going my parents wanna go out to dinner."
"Okay it was fun hanging out we gotta do it again."
"Yeah definitely."
We got in the car and drove to my house. Today was the first time Nate was meeting my parents so I was kinda nervous. But they'll love him. We pulled up to my house and got his bags and walked up to the door.
"You ready to meet my crazy family?"
"They can't be that bad."
"Oh believe me they are lol. Mom dad we're back. Nate this is my mom Kim, and my dad Keith."
"Hello it's nice to meet you both."
"It's nice to meet you too."
"So mom where are we going for dinner?"
"Texas Roadhouse."
"Sounds good. Are we all riding in one car?"
"Yeah."
We got into my dads car and drove to Texas Roadhouse. At dinner we talked and my parents really got to know Nate. We payed and got ready to leave to go back to my house. I was so tired I was ready for bed. When we got back Nate and I went to my room to watch tv. I fell asleep in the middle of a movie. I was so happy to have Nate here. I slept like a baby. Tomorrow we're going to emerald so that should be fun.
